Apartment as described

The apartment was in a great location, just minutes from Copacabana beach, near supermarkets, restaurants and public transportation. Love the fact that had a 24 hour security guard with CCC cameras that made us feel super safe. The apartment itself was clean and had everything we needed included lots of closet space. Love the washer so we didn't have to bring a lot of clothes. Air conditioner, stove, fridge, microwave all worked with no problems. It was difficult to talk to Regina as she doesn't speak English but found Google translator that made our lives easier. Highly Recommended.

Perfect apartment!

Overall we were all very satisfied with our stay. Before staying: Luckily for me, I have a Portuguese speaking colleague who made communicating with the Regina very simple, however if you do not have this luxury then as you will see later she is happy accommodating non Portuguese speaking guests. I naturally had reservations about sending the deposit internationally, however shortly after the transfer was made I was sent a photocopy of the transaction receipt and felt very reassured by this. During our stay: The first challenge was calling Regina to meet her to sort out the keys and payments. I had tried to learn some Portuguese before going to Brazil however it was still not very good. Regina was very patient and explained everything great; she even called her daughter in law to translate to English for us when it became apparent that my attempts at learning Portuguese were not quite good enough! After this process was done, the flat was great for us. All of the furniture was of high quality and the apartment had everything we required and more. The location was great, just a short walk from Copacabana beach and with local shops, cafe's and restaurants nearby. Like any apartment we needed to pay a deposit to insure the owner that we would not damage the apartment during our stay, at the end of our stay we left the apartment in a similar state as to when we arrived and the deposit was returned with no problems. The only disappointment of my stay was that England performed so badly in the World Cup. Thanks again, Adam

Apartamento excelente

A nossa estadia foi ótima. O apartamento é muito bem localizado. Tem tudo perto, inclusive o supermercado Zona Sul, que funciona 24 horas. A anfitriã é super atenciosa e o apartamento é bem ventilado com janelas grandes, e tambem muito completo, com todos utensílios necessários.

Melhor do que pensei

A anfitriã está de parabéns! O apartamento é exatamente como nas fotos, limpo, organizado e tem tudo que é necessário durante a estadia. Tem Internet wi-fi, TV a cabo, cozinha completa, além das camas ainda há um sofá-cama na sala, caso seja necessário. Tem até máquina de lavar roupas (não utilizamos), e um banheiro bem funcional. Tivemos apenas um pouco de dificuldades em regular a temperatura do chuveiro, problema direcionado à anfitriã, que nos orientou a inverter a posição de temperatura do aquecedor, o que resolveu o assunto. Sentimos muito calor dentro do apartamento, mas, os ventiladores (da sala e do quarto) deram conta do recado, sendo que no quarto também há um aparelho de ar condicionado. Há uma padaria ao lado do prédio e muitas opções de supermercado. A praia fica a aproximadamente 4 quarteirões do imóvel. Houve também flexibilidade quanto ao horário do check out, o que nos ajudou bastante, pois nossa volta seria à noite. Só temos que agradecer por tudo, e dizer que este apartamento realmente é uma escolha racional, de ótimo custo/beneficio.
