The apartment is very close to the beach and the subway. Leaving the front door of the building comes to the beach in 2 minutes and out the back door of the building you reach the metro also in two minutes. Bathroom and kitchen tiles to the ceiling, ceramic tiled floor. Apt has air conditioning in the room and a fan in the room and microwave in the kitchen. Wi-Fi system to connect to the internet. Sleeping apt has a double bed, a sofa bed and two mattresses. From our room we see the beach right in front. Ordinance 24 hours plus cameras in the hallways.

A nice place with a nice view

This apartment is always my first choice and I would be happy to book it again for my next trip. It’s very popular and you need to book it couple of months in advance.

Location was great close to beach and dinning, furniture was dated and air condition didn't work but other then that secured building with doorman with monitors to make you feel safe. Overall it was worth it for the price.

I couldn't think of a better experience for my first time using VRBO. Not only is Roberto absolutely delightful, the apartment is perfect, especially for a single female traveler like me. It's located in a convenient area of Copa, very close to the beach. The apartment is secure, very clean, and has everything you will need. Roberto even includes a clean bar of soap, towels, and a fresh bottle of water (which well well-needed!). Thank you for a great experience and I hope to stay here again next time I'm in Rio.

Sr. Roberto foi um ótimo anfitrião, facilitou o check-in e check-out, nos recepcionou, deu dicas de lugares e restaurantes e no único contratempo que tivemos resolveu prontamente. Departamento con ubicacion excelente, 50 metros playa Copacabana. Supermercados cerca, paradas de micros y taxis por todos lados. Departamento muy comodo y limpio. Habria que mejorar sofa cama ubicado en comedor ya que es muy incomodo dormir alli. Comunicacion con Roberto su propietario espontanea. Ampliamente recomendable

Wished I found it sooner

Just finished my fist trip to Brazil. 1 week in Salvador, 2 weeks in Rio. I stayed in 5 different places, and the last was this one. If you're going to spend more than a few nights in Copacabana, you should stay here because the typical hotel room in the same price range will give you claustrophobia. I read the previous reviews on this apartment and they were accurate. Yes, the street noise is there, but you are in Copacabana in a busy city! Also, Roberto is a great host. This apartment has a huge bedroom window on the 10th floor that looks straight down a street one block to the Ocean. You definitely see enough of the sea to know, what's the weather like on the beach... is it windy? are the waves too choppy, etc. The kitchen is ample, though I only used it to cut my fruit, poor my wine. I wished I had more time to sample more things from the markets in my own room instead of the typical menus of all the restaurants. I did take the subway one time. Roberto showed me a shortcut whereby you exit the rear of the building from the 5th floor. It's really cool as the building is on a slope, so backside is 5 stories up. The leather couchin the living area is great. There is also a smaller love seat in leather wich are new and very comfortable. I kept up with work from the dining area table seating.. Wifi worked just fine. For some reason on my laptop I often had to disconnect/reconnect the wife to get internet access, though I never had to do it with my phone. I was able to watch a few movies because the internet speed was very good. One piece of advice... The bedroom has a wall a/c unit. But, if you simply crack open the bedroom window and another window in the dining area, you will get a nice breaze since this apartment is on the 10th floor. I will definitely look to stay here again when I make it back to Rio.

Estive em Nov.19 no ap. 15 dias... Foi tudo muito bom, o apartamento e muito bem localizado, tem saída para duas ruas Av nossa senhora de Copacabana e para a rua Barata Ribeiro que fica o metro. A hospedagem foi para duas pessoas bem confortável. Recomendo o local.

Maravilhoso

Simplesmente maravilhoso. Apartamento muito confortável com uma ótima vista. Muito bem localizado e próximo de tudo (metro, mercado, ponto de ônibus, farmácia). Ficamos minha esposa e eu e fomos recepcionados pela Senhora Penha, pois o Sr Roberto estava viajando. Pessoas muito bem receptivas, o aparatamento muito bem conservado e aconchegante; tinha tudo que precisávamos. Recomendo a estadia e com certeza voltaremos a nos hospedar.
