Thank you for your feedback. We take all reviews seriously and would like to clarify several important points for future guests. Firstly, at no time during your stay did you report concerns about the steps, the microwave and dishes, that anything was broken during your stay or that the dishwasher was malfunctioning through the VRBO app, despite multiple outreach attempts from us regarding other matters. We consistently communicate through the platform to ensure transparency and quick resolution of any issues. Unfortunately, we did not receive responses to those messages. Regarding the front door lock, as soon as we were notified, we acted immediately and arranged for a licensed locksmith to come out the same day. While the repair was in progress, you were provided with a safe and secure alternative so you could leave and return to the property with confidence that your belongings were protected. The payment arrangement had already been made prior to the locksmith’s arrival; we had no control over any miscommunication on-site regarding payment, and guests were never responsible for that cost. Concerning the dishwasher, it had been professionally serviced prior to your arrival. After checkout, our housekeeper tested the unit during the cleaning process and confirmed that it was functioning properly. It was also found with standing water and mold growth inside, despite the statement that it was not used. Additionally, your statement is contradictory — noting that the dishwasher was “never used” while also stating that it “doesn’t clean dishes satisfactorily.” At no point during the stay was any issue with the dishwasher reported to us, which would have allowed us to address concerns immediately. We were also disappointed to find that cleanliness standards were not upheld during the stay. Cleaning supplies are provided, and guests are offered the option to request housekeeping services for an additional fee. Additionally, the dishwasher was left with standing water and mold growth, despite it reportedly not being used. We strive to provide a safe, clean, and responsive hosting experience, and we address maintenance concerns promptly when they are communicated to us. We encourage future guests to reach out through the platform at the first sign of any issue so we can resolve it quickly and efficiently. We remain committed to maintaining high standards and clear communication for all of our guests.

The listing photos clearly depict what is available for your use, which having one TV should be no surprise. After each guest, the property is cleaned and inspected. Upon your arrival, you never mentioned anything wrong with any appliances or furniture or the accommodations as a whole. There are sheer and blackout curtains over the sliding door to shield the sunlight in addition to the blinds that you could’ve used. If there was any issue with any of the blinds or the curtains, you should’ve let us know during your stay, so we could’ve solved your problem. We were first informed of your complaint of insects three days prior to your original checkout date. The following day, there was no evidence of any “flying bugs” nor two days after when the handyman came on both occasions to address the concerns you had. After he left, you even informed us that everything was okay when asked. We are sad to hear that you had a “terrible” experience considering you decided to extend your stay by 10 days, just prior to your original checkout date.
