Wonderful retreat

They made us feel like family that heated up the spa just for us. Really great people to stay with good place to go visit Canton from.

Quiet Little Place tucked away in East Texas

We had a wonderful time and breakfast was great! Enjoyed the peace and relaxation. Also loved the animals they were fun. Will definitely tell others to come out and relax. Thanks Randy and Cheryl!

Restful retreat

Accommodating host, wooded area, private cabin with pool at the main house was all outstanding. This is a beautiful property expect to get well rested here. Close enough to town to go to restaurants, but feel away from all of that when you're at the cabin instantly. Thank goes to my gracious hosts for all the communication. Great when you need a break from devices!

God’s Country

If you want to experience the peacefulness and beauty of East Texas this is the place to be. Randy and Cheryl met us at their front door and immediately we felt right at home. They were so eager to show us around the place. It truly showed us how much they care for their beautiful property and the guests they welcome onto it. Our cabin was so cute and the amenities were above par. I must admit that the chapel was one of my favorite places on property. It was so peaceful and perfect for a quiet place to retreat. We really loved our short stay here and hope to return again.

Warm Welcome

It was a very relaxing stay. I had a feeling that I visited my own family. Any request was addressed in a few minutes. The place is cute and cozy. House craftsmanship is amazing. Communication started way ahead of my visit and helped me with a list what to pack. Love dogs visits too! Thank you, Cheryl and Randy!

A perfect getaway!

My sister and I were looking for a place where we could spend time with God and observe Sabbath. Our goal was to leave refreshed and renewed. This property and our cabin were perfect for what we wanted!! The property is beautiful!! We enjoyed swimming, walking the grounds, sitting my the pond, and petting the animals. Randy and Cheryl are the sweetest hosts!! They will not come down to your cabin unless you invite them, but if you want to talk and be encouraged by them, they will take the time to do that. They helped us with anything we needed and are such servants. We ate breakfast poolside on Saturday morning and it was delicious!! We bought and cooked hen eggs, quail eggs, and tomatoes that they had raised and enjoyed it all! Their place is perfect for a spiritual getaway, a couple's getaway, a family reunion, etc... We will be back!! Also, we did some things in Mineola. We hiked at the Mineola Nature Preserve and saw an alligator and lots of other wildlife. You do not want to miss spending time there! It is a treasure! We ate a cheddar cheese burger, curly fries, and a slice of coconut pie at the E. TX Burger Company. It was yummy. They also sell fried pries so we took 2 of those home with us...a cherry and an apricot and they were delicious too. Shopping in Mineola is fun too!
