Great place for a get-away vacation. It was still a bit chilly for us to enjoy and lake-related activities except viewing - but there were kayaks and other toys available Appreciated the bottled water and the laundry machines!Nice neighbor offered us freshly laid eggs.

When they said all you needed to bring was your clothes, food and toiletries, they meant it. The best supplied rental we've ever stayed in. Very nice home, good room sizes, nicely laid out and furnished. Good location, within driving distance of many sights. Or stay right there and enjoy fishing, swimming, kayaking and boating if you own one. Very nice dock and nicely maintained grass and firepit. We'll be back.

Everything was amazing for our stay! We had several questions throughout our stay and every one was quickly answered! Daryl is truly a great host! The house was amazing! The beds were super comfy! Beautiful location! The sunsets from the house are to die for! The porch with table were a great place to have coffee. There is an amazing fire pit to make our s’mores! I was able to bring my 18’ boat and carefully get it to and from the dock. This was probably the best stocked house we’ve ever stayed at! They have a shed with all kinds of goodies to make your stay enjoyable! The fishing was amazing! We are already talking about our return trip!!

This is truly a hidden gem in the UP. This was a perfect spot enjoy the beauty of the UP. The place was well maintained and cleaned. The host communicated well. I had a few questions and within 30mins or less he had responded. All the amenities this house offered was great. It had a great big backyard for my dog to enjoy. If you are looking to do sight seeing there are a lot of great places with in an hours drive to see and then drive didn't seem that long because of all the beautiful nature on the drive. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing place to stay. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Enjoyable Stay

First time to the UP and we had a great time. The home met our needs and had enough room for a family of 4 to spread out a bit. We had several spots we wanted to visit and the location of the home was fairly centrally located.

Perfect relaxing piece of heaven

My husband and our 3 year old and 8 month year old plus our 2 dogs enjoyed our stay immensely!!! It’s the perfect location but also secluded in its own little area. The owners were super nice and they have everything you could ever need and plus some!

A wonderful place to stay

Everything was as described, clean, and inviting. It's off the beaten path, but that is exactly what we wanted. Daryl was a great and responsive host. This was easily the most hassle free and easy to deal with rental we've ever had.

Highly recommended this property! We utilized the beautiful lake my kids had a blast. There are so many things within an hour to go do. We did the falls, pictured rocks, bear farm and so much more. Fishing was a huge hit. Thank you so much for the wonderful accomodations at your home.

Big Manistique Oasis

Peaceful retreat on quiet corner of the lake. Spacious cabin and propery with tons of fun things for kids to do on the lake and off the dock. They have kayaks, a flioating mat, tube, and more. Just a great place to unwind and take in the fresh air!

McMillan MI Lakefront Home

The property has a beautiful and quiet location on Manistique Lake. Even though the weather was too cool to take advantage of the water, it was a serene and peaceful setting. The house was well supplied with linens and dishes, etc. although it would be helpful to provide washcloths and tub mats in the bathrooms. The property owners were very responsive in dealing with an unexpected heating issue that arose at the beginning of our stay. Check-in and check-out was very simple.

No issues here! Maybe just a deep clean but the things I saw weren’t enough to affect our stay. The grill was out of propane when we went to use it but the owner had another available onsite that they directed us to. Location was great as we were able to travel all over the UP! Definitely felt like home! I’m obsessed with the moon reflecting off the lake here, it was so beautiful. Hope to be back one day!
