overall a lovely stay
Donna and Matt were a pleasure to work with, very responsive and helpful. The place was very good overall with a couple minor challenges. Not being able to adjust the temperature was a bit tricky, and having to go outside to do laundry in basement wasn't ideal, but overall we enjoyed our stay and place was sunny and sweet. recommend.

Convenient Location on a Busy Street
The host was extremely welcoming, friendly and accessible. Flowers and snacks were left for us. She was great. The spaces are charming but tight. Too many stairs for children or elderly as the unit is on the second floor. We had access to the attic level but didn’t use it due to more tight stairs. The bedrooms accommodated with closet and dresser space but only one side of the bed is in/out accessible due to the bed being flush to the wall in both bedrooms. The eat-in kitchen is spacious and clean but has too many unnecessary small appliances where other necessities would be appreciated i.e. paper napkins, spices, oils, and space to put away groceries. It has a dining table for 4 with views out to the park below. The bathroom is lacking in shelf and counter space and the door wouldn’t stay closed and was tricky to lock. The Village is a short walk and has lots of shops, restaurants and coffee, but overnight parking is slightly challenging about a block and a half away while daytime parking one contends with a busy street. Best for adults with older children.

I have lived on Chicago's North Shore for 25 years and love it! My husband and I have enjoyed sharing our homes with families throughout these 25 years - and we are excited for you to check out Park Place.

Why they chose this property

Chicago's North Shore is just the best! The people, the places, the lake. You can walk to nearly everything. Great eateries abound and you are a short bike ride to gorgeous Lake Michigan. Not to mention, Park Place is a great hop-stop for visiting Northwestern parents.

What makes this property unique

We are in the best location! You will be steps from town, the train, the library, the beach and parks, parks, parks! Hit the neighborhood bowling alley, walk to pick up groceies, hop the train to downtown - you are minutes from fun no matter where you head.
