Four of us had a wonderful Craig's place. In addition to comfortable beds and great bathrooms, the house served as a wonderful gathering place for others attending a family reunion. We had space for 14 to have dinner and to gather to catch up. There is a nice bar/coffee station in addition to a well functioning kitchen. Kids and adults enjoyed the yard. There is plenty of street parking. '
Had a great stay at this rental property. The house is beautifully furnished and the master bathroom is very premium. No issues communicating with the host Craig. This is definitely a rare gem in the Chicago area.
This house was perfect for our stay! Our group of 14 had plenty of space to hangout and enjoy a good time. The house was in a great location which made it easy to get downtown. There was also plenty of parking for everyone driving into town.
This place was very well suited for a wedding weekend. The couple live in Chicago so we could go in and out of the city for events a festivities. This place was big enough to allow our extended family to hang out, catch up and enjoy the time together. We were lucky to enjoy mild weather and the outside patio was great.
A great house with a great host. Everything went smooth and everyone had a good time.my family and I will definitely be considering coming back and booking here.
We had a great stay at the property. It was beautiful and located in a great area. The house was easily accessible via public transportation. It was well laid out for a big group of people. Communication with Craig was quick and easy. The large primary bedroom provided a great area to set up toddler beds. We had a slight snafu with the code to enter the house but Craig answered quickly and immediately rectified the situation which was greatly appreciated.
My family and I were in town for a concert in Chicago and needed a large place to stay. Luckily, we were able to find this house and it was perfect! It was extremely clean and Craig was a great person to work with. If we are every back in the Chicago area, this is where we will be staying!
The Haus of Love had everything my family of 8 needed and more. As our son prepared for his Northwestern graduation our family thought it would be fun to stay all together rather than be divided into hotel rooms. This spacious house did not disappoint. We had all the comforts of homes and the rooms were gorgeous. The patio seating area was a great place to relax. The neighborhood offered plenty of areas to grab a quick bite and the location was a quick 20 minute drive to most destinations. The kids raved about how cool the house was which is a 10/10 compliment!
Thanks Craig for being such a gracious host and answering all of my questions so quickly!!
We loved staying at this property. We always opt for VRBO and other home rentals when we travel and I always do extensive research on each property/neighborhood before I book. This property ranks as one of our top experiences and we've traveled all over the world. The home itself is lavishly renovated and comfortably appointed. TONS of sleeping options, many sparklingly clean bathrooms, two dining areas, two sitting areas, a lovely (and quiet) backyard, and an impressive kitchen all with incredible natural lighting. The owner was extremely responsive to our change of plans and contact before and during our stay. Late night check in couldn't have been easier with the keys conveniently left for us at the property. This is a great option for anyone looking to have a Chicago getaway, but prefers to stay on the quieter side of town.
My family gets together every fall. Our first stay in a vacation rental home was in 2015. It is with almost ten years of knowledge that I declare this house one of the best. We had an amazing stay! Craig is wonderful host. This house is filled with all sorts of extras and bonuses. Getting in the house was easy. I can't tell you how many times we stood outside of a house because the code didn't work. We walked through the house oohing and ahhing in each room. Everyone loved watching movies projected on a large screen in the living room. We had to arm wrestled to determine who got to sleep in the super luxe master bedroom with the awesome tub. We were absolutely delighted by the coffee bar. My family does this trip every fall. We decided that we need to come back here in the summer to enjoy the outdoor setup.
