Welcome to your inviting home base in Chicago, comfortably accommodating up to 8 guests. The main living area is filled with natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for you to relax in.

* **Living & Working:** Unwind in one of two separate living areas. The main floor features HDTV with streaming services offers endless entertainment. For those mixing work with travel, a dedicated workspace with a desk and high-speed Wi-Fi is ready for you.

* **Kitchen & Dining:** Our fully equipped kitchen has everything you need, including modern stainless steel appliances, cookware, and utensils, whether you're a culinary enthusiast or just need to prepare a quick meal.

* **Bedrooms & Bathrooms:** Three comfortable bedrooms ensure a peaceful night's sleep. You'll find a regal King bedroom, a Queen bedroom, and a third bedroom with two Double beds. All rooms have plenty of closet and dresser space. Two full bathrooms are stocked with hotel-like amenities, including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

* **For Families:** Traveling with little ones is easier here. We provide a crib, high chair, safety gates, children's toys, and a dedicated playroom area.

* **Outdoor Space:** Step out onto the back terrace with dining seating. The large, fully fenced backyard features a huge dog run, giving your pets a safe space to play.

Guests will have full and private access to the entire first-floor apartment. This includes all bedrooms, bathrooms, the kitchen, and living areas. You will also have private use of the back porch. Shared access includes the large, fenced backyard and the in-building laundry facilities. A private garage with space for one car is included for your exclusive use.

We respect our guests' privacy and aim to provide a seamless, independent stay. We are available via the messaging app if you have any questions or need local recommendations. Otherwise, we will give you your space to enjoy your Chicago getaway.

We rented this lovely Evanston historic lake district house for a week when we were in town for a family celebration. Our group was 4 adults, and one dog. The pros: beautiful and spacious, Kerry (the host) was responsive whenever we reached out, incredible location near the lake and easy to get to the city and the burbs. Easy parking, and we loved having a dining room table to have a family dinner, laundry and big couches and tvs for movie night. Also we love a dog-friendly property as our pooch travels with us. A couple of small things of note: -we were surprised that we had to reach out for the door code. -When we arrived a number of small but critical things were nowhere to be found (hand towels, kitchen towels, trivets, spatula) but Kerry responsive to us and ordered some delivered as well as a locksmith for an entry doorknob we were concerned was falling off. -No bins or guidance on recycling. -In the bedroom with the king bed, where was no way to run the ceiling fan without the lights on because the chains were broken. My 6’3” husband struggled to reach the tiny bit remaining. -The bed linens were some sort of poly blend, which meant the space slept hot (especially if you didn’t want to run the window ac all night and since you couldn’t run the fan). This may be a personal preference, but I’m always surprised when bed linen isn’t cotton. Overall, these were small things compared to the lovely space, location and host. But i do like to share all the info!

Wonderful Stay!

We would definitely stay here again. Very nice neighborhood. Loved the ease of letting out the dog as it was fully fenced. House was very nice and had everything we needed. We truly enjoyed this spot, which was walking distance to the el train and places to eat, shop, etc. it was cold when we were there but it was also walking distance to the lake and beaches!
