Cozy Creekside Glamping in a Funky Studio Cabin in Oak Creek Canyon, Sedona AZ
Small Studio Cabin built in the 1940's in Oak Creek Canyon. A step up from glamping-our small cabin sits with a large deck facing the creek, nestled behind a small trailer court. Approx. 1.2 acres, this funky, rustic, cute & quirky space has direct trail access to Oak Creek. Enjoy a hammock lounge by the water, or coffee on the deck in an area our family has enjoyed for 4 generations. Built on property owned by my family for 100 years. We offer a small trailer style shower, camping kitchen with hot plate, toaster and microwave. Queen sized bed with small sitting couch and little kitchen. We have your basic essentials covered for a 2 person stay for those who would like to camp but still like some amenities. Lots of hot water and a modest TV and DVD player. No wifi, but if you load your movies onto a USB you can play them on the TV also. Verizon cell phones work great and we have trash pick up. Enjoy the canyon with nearby trails, picnic areas and amazing canyons to hike like West Fork, Slide Rock State Park and Munds. Only 15 minutes or less outside Sedona Uptown and 15 miles from Flagstaff. You can see all the stars at night and hear the creek from the deck. Indian Gardens Cafe has excellent coffee and lattes just minutes away and breakfast.

Had a wonderful relaxing weekend in this cozy little cabin. Celebrated my 60th birthday with my daughter and grandbaby. Wonderful location. The little cabin was perfect. Very charming and the sound of the creek from the deck was so relaxing. Would definitely come back! cabin is a perfect little
We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy little cabin! It was a great weekend to decompress and explore. Short distance away from downtown Sedona. Indian Gardens a few miles away has delicious breakfast and coffee along with gluten free options
It was just my husband and I, the space was perfect for 2 people. The cabin does have a coffee maker (which was important for us coffee drinkers) and is off a very pretty stretch of road. We enjoyed making our own food on the hot plate and the hot water in the shower. Our only cautions about this place: The bathroom is pretty tight if you are very tall or large framed and the driveway is pretty steep and super jagged right off the road, so don't drive a low riding vehicle or you may rip off your bumper. We had a small SUV and just took it really slow and was fine, but it's rough.
I went to Sedona for some hiking. Leah’s place was a perfect for relaxing at the beginning and end of the day. The cabin is so cute and I loved the surroundings. The birds, the creek, the stars, perfect!
If you want a luxury hotel, this isn’t it. Expect a cabin, and you won’t be disappointed. A lot of rules to follow but I guess that comes with such an old cabin. Enjoyed how it was decorated. Wife live the comfort of the bed. Trailer homes nearby but all were very quiet. With the stream nearby, we couldn’t even hear the road. Loved the view, loved the deck!
The cabin is great and you are going to love it! If you are looking for a solo trip to enjoy the creek and nature then this place is a positive option. Safe and with a wonderful outside deck space provided, it is the best relaxation.
Beautiful and quaint cabin ,on the side of the mountains. Everything was very , bed was great enjoyed the back deck , sitting and listening to music of the wind and water running from creek .
Our stay was very peaceful
Thank you
The most amazing cabin on the creek! Completely private with creek access just steps away. Very peaceful and quiet. Fully equipped with all the essentials and a very comfortable bed.
Super sweet place. We loved this cute, vintage cabin. The decor is lovely, it is small, but certainly met our needs. We picked up prepared food at the grocery store, which worked out perfectly as I am not sure I would cook a meal in the cabin. Unfortunately the DVD player did not work while we were there but if it did there are plenty of movies to choose from. We would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to stay here again if the opportunity presents.
Loved the location and serenity cabin was very nice.. i do wish they would provide a small propane Bar B Q so we didnt have to bring one. And maybe have someone clean and clear the trail to the creek for safer access.. but all & all will visit again. Thanks for the experience.
The place was clean, quiet, and simple. Everything you need for a short stay in Sedona in a great location. If you're looking to cook a lot, this might not be a great fit, but I had no trouble at all cooking breakfasts and simple dinners on the provided hot plate and in the microwave and toaster oven.
The bed was super comfy with soft linens and nice pillows. The bathroom was small and functional, and the shower was larger than I expected from the descriptions.
The deck was a wonderful place for coffee/wine.
If you're looking for fancy, this isn't your place. But if you like character and charm, this is a winner at a great price. I'd gladly stay here again!
Knowing that it is the last of a Family Homestead property made it nice. The 1930's charm and the blend of 1940's and 50's decor were great touches. A Couple very Minor issues of Electrical we were warned about and the hard to open and close pocket door to the bathroom were two items of worry while we were there. It was clean and neat which what we raved about most. The drive way entrance to the little trailorhood needs to be worked on as well, luckily I did have my 4WD Jeep that made it fun. Not the best for a car at all.

Not a good rental
We unfortunately found this rental to be in poor condition. There were bugs on the floor and a plethora of rules that were rediculious. The front outside door wouldn’t even close. We left after one night with any rest.
I went during October for a weekend getaway with my fiancé and little Pomeranian. This rustic spot is so cute! I loved checking out what it would be like to stay so close to the creek in this area. The bed was comfortable. Loved watching DVDs at night. They had a fun selection. Great water pressure. Dairy queen is conveniently across the street (came in handy for dinner when the traffic into Sedona was heavy) and the Indian Garden Gardens cafe is close by and the perfect place to get breakfast and pick up a bottle of wine to drink at your balcony overlooking the creek. The Dairy Queen also has a Native arts market on property. It's worth stopping by. The access to the creek on property is definitely at your own risk like the host says. Wear sturdy shoes. I had to hold my small dog as we descended toward the creek. It's worth noting that the driveway to leave is a bit steep as you turn to get on the main road. It's doable since most traffic is slow around that area, but good to know if your vehicle doesn't do well with any kind of off-roading. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a rustic stay in Oak Creek. The decor is so charming and we had everything we needed. We were so happy to stay there.
