My group had a wonderful weekend stay at Mimi's cottage, and I recommend it for any close knit group of beach goers. The property has easy access to Carolina Beach and a trove of beach goer necessities that you can borrow, but you'll want to bring your own beach towels. Being able to enter each floor of the property from outside access was so convenient for my group as we came off the beach, and the two outdoor showers allowed us ample spaces to ensure we didn't track sand inside. The communal spaces were cozy but had enough space for us all to spread out and play board games when it rained.

We absolutely loved it! House was perfect for our family vacation. Everyone had their own space and privacy. The beach was beautiful, not crowded at all which made it nice especially in the evening with the grand babies running around and winding down. Very clean and the host was very accommodating with communication.

We loved the location to the beach and the views. Kelly was very helpful and the communication was good. Thank you for the wine and snacks upon arrival. We had a large group and it accommodated us well. Thank you for sharing Mimi’s cottage with us.

This is the best spot on Carolina beach! The house is so incredibly beautiful and not only is it beachfront, and has entertainment right there inside the home (pool table, movie theatre room - how cool is that?!), but you can also see the sunrise from the balcony each morning (and sometimes dolphins). Its just beautiful and lovely and I hope we can return at least once a year! The host was super helpful, thoughtful, and a joy to communicate with. Five stars!!!

Family vacation

Loved the house, was exactly as described. Lot's of extras, everything we needed for our family of 8. Location was fabulous, loved the porch swing and watching the ocean in the mornings wirh coffee. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Its a great place

The house was great right on the beach. We just so happened to be there when tropical storm Debbie hit. Even with all the wind and rain we got it was still a great trip. We would definitely stay at this house again.

Beach retreat

Great location right on the beach! Plenty of room for the entire family. We enjoyed sitting on the porches watching the waves roll in and taking just a few steps to the beach to watch the sun rise each morning. We are already looking forward to saying here again next year!

Great Beach Getaway

This was a great place to have a getaway with friends from all over the country. It was walking distance to the pier for food, drinks, ice cream and views yet not commercialized to have traffic. House was great and hosts were easy to rent from. Easy walk out to the beach and lots of amenities that helped make a great vacation for us. 100% recommend to those looking for a place to gather to make fun memories at the beach.

Family Vacation

Our family enjoyed staying at Mimi’s Cottage. We had 9 all together, 6 adults and 3 under 5, so we had plenty of room. There were special amenities when we arrived. Just a short walk away to the beach. Convenient to grocery stores, the Boardwalk & restaurants.
