It was a great place. Close to park and nicely appointed. The pool would not heat correctly, but owner responded quickly and resolved the issue. We would definitely return for another stay!

Perfect vacation stay

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, Helen had a very beautiful and clean home with excellent communication. Great location for a nice view, local trails, and decent distances to convenient stores. Would recommend and love to stay here again in the future!

The Box on the Rox

This was a great place to stay, The house was amazing and Helen was great host. I would highly recommend to anyone going to Joshua tree and would definitely stay here again .

Perfect in every way

We stayed here for a long weekend and enjoyed everything the place had to offer. The pool was a blast, it had towels, comfy beds, beautiful decor. The kids loved the layout and amenities. We’ll definately stay again.

Relaxing unique experience

Everything from booking to the stay was with ease. Location was easy to find and accessible to stores if needed but remote enough to relax and enjoy the night time desert sky.

Huge fan of this property. Home is spacious and just-remote enough where you feel off the grid, but are close enough to everything you need to have a terrific stay. Highly recommend!

Perfect location and so unique!

Had a wonderful time at the “Box on the Rox” container home! It is very well designed and comfortably laid out. Plenty of room for our group of three. Everything we needed was provided and check in was a breeze. The deck area outside was a perfect spot to enjoy the gorgeous evening sunsets and starlit sky. If you’re looking for a perfect location to enjoy Joshua Tree Nat’l Park, this is it! Would definitely stay again.

Stargazing trip

My girls and I wanted to see an unobstructed view of the meteor shower. We booked as a last minute overnight and had an amazing time! The property is spectacular, has great views, and makes a great indoor/outdoor retreat! We can’t wait to come back again. Book this property! You will not be disappointed!!

Such a fun house-minutes from Joshua Tree National Park

I highly recommend this house for its excellent location and uniqueness. 3 very comfortable bedrooms and 2 full baths allowed us to spread out. The outdoor space is amazing - from the pool to the roof deck and garage door to the kitchen - we spent so much time outside enjoying the sunrise and star gazing. Could not find a better location if planning a trip to Joshua Tree

Absolutely wonderful

The place was perfect for a mom and two teen boys. The beds were comfortable, the amenities were lovely, and the place was close to everything Joshua Tree. I thought it was a very reasonable price for all the things that were included. And the pool was a hit with my kids.

The box on the rox stay

Erich and I had an amazing stay at this property! It was gorgeous. The design and layout was super, the outdoor space amazing and the view from the roof…stunning. We spent time in Joshua Tree, Palm Desert, Palm Springs and tons of hiking! Everything at this property is all and more than the listing! The host is so amazing:) I would move here if I could!
