Beautiful condo great beds gorgeous view from every room!

Nicest condo on the hill, loved the view and the Coco Bay Club where they have a Pickleball pro and tennis pros for lessons and drills. The pool is a great place to cool off and the restaurant waits on you poolside. Great location, love this area. Will definitely stay again if this condo is available next year.

Amazing Views

The condo had everything needed and was extremely clean. I had communications with the owner and she was extremely helpful not only with specifics of the property but was a wealth of information about activities. The condo comes with a “Beach Club” membership and both pools and locations were amazing.. I will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this to any others who are travelling to Costa Rica. It was a fantastic location from which to launch our travels throughout Costa Rica and I loved the view of the Pacific and the islands staring back at us every day.

Spectacular View

This unique property was such a relaxing picturesque setting for our winter escape. Beds are so comfy, A/C is amazing, kitchen is so well kitted out, and the view is unbeatable. It's location makes it easy to explore northern Costa Rica's highlights as day trips, and return to the comforts of home nightly. For complete relaxation, club amenities, and silence, this is your place. A car is definitely needed / recommended. The caretaker / maintenance man is AMAZING. You're in good hands.

Up the hill

Place was great view was great but the hill was a chore. If your not mobil a car is required and renting a car in Costa Rica is brutal when surprised with the insurance requirements at the til. Homework and research would have saved us a ton.

Great Stay.

This condo was great for us. We stayed four weeks, and I don't think I could get tired of the views from all the rooms. The location was away from town, and at the top of a very steep hill, so you'll need a rental car. That said, it's a five minute drive into Playas del Coco. The pool and gym are close by, and the beach club is a 10 minute drive away. Both amenities are a great perk. Definitely would stay here again!

The descriptions were all a LIE

We were planning our "trip of a lifetime" to Costa Rica when I was searching for a location that would satisfy us parents, and our 3 kids, aging from 10 to 20. No easy task. I was looking for a place where we could divide and conquer; my inlaws were meeting us there as well, so if some wanted to go to the beach, fine. If some wanted to go to the pool, fine. If some wanted to go into town, fine. So we selected this property from the description and the pictures. First, there is no "town" to speak of. No restaurants, no cute shops, nothing. Second, there was no beach club within MILES.... the property was situated at the top of a VERY STEEP hill, literally miles from the beach club, miles from the ocean, and not walking distance to either the pool, the gym, any restaurants, stores and certainly not the beach. We were lead to believe that all the above mentioned would be conveniently accessed by all of us. As a matter of fact, we weren't even planning on renting a car as we thought if everything was "right there, no need!!" Upon our arrival, we sadly got news of a medical emergency back in the states. My mother had suffered a heart attack. I immediately called the owner of the condo and begged her to refund my stay as we were turning around and leaving immediately. We hadn't even taken a glass out of the cupboard or used the toilet. We literally came in and made the phone call to the owner. She was very kind and said "don't worry about it! just get home!" which we thought was so nice!!! That was the last time we spoke to her as she wont return any of our correspondence. I was so hopeful that she would have refunded our money (not even the service fees from VRBO as I didn't expect her to be OUT any $) but alas, it was not to be. This property was not booked for any of the surrounding weeks and it's not like she missed out on a potential booking. We are out the $ and she pocketed it and it's simply wrong. It's unfortunate that she told me not to worry about it, alluding to refunding our money and has since gone silent. Because of my many attempts to reach her unsuccessfully, I am left with no choice but to give an honest review of a property who's descriptions are SO FALSE that I would hate for any other traveler to have to stay there.... if they can even find it as there are no street signs and her directions were very poor. Just a classic case of false advertising/praying off of unknowing travelers. Bottom line, DO NOT RENT

Un condominio hermoso, ideal para viajes en familia como lo hicimos nosotros , muy limpio y cerca de todo lo que uno necesita . Equipado totalmente . Con una vista excepcional y muchas comodidades en la casa . Brandon se comportó super amable , es una persona muy linda gente y muy atento , quien nos ayudó en todo momento . La casa de campo es una maravilla para los niños ademas de que tiene restaurante sin salir del condominio. Mi familia y yo quedamos enamorados del lugar y pensamos volver en nuestras proximas vacaciones . Tatalmente recomendado!

Great location with amazing view!

This condo was beautiful, and exactly as the listing described it. The location was great with only minutes to town, beaches and the private beach club. It was great to wake up to an amazing view every morning as we enjoyed our coffee on the patio. Both pools were nice and clean, although the swim up bar was not open when we were there. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful for any concerns or bookings we needed help with. I would definitely stay here again!

Very nice vacation.

Two of us stayed at Marie's Coco condo and had a great time. It's close to town and you get to see Costa Rica like a native. The restaurants and grocery store were full of local flavor. Highly recommend restaurant Xaixo; breakfast or tapas....fresh food, nice presentation and personal attention. The condo was prefect; she doesn't forget to provide anything you might expect. Very clean and the view is spectacular. We were able to sit on the porch overlooking the water in the evenings after spending a couple hours at the condo pool at the end of an adventurous day. Also, Marie's son set us up for a catamaran cruise, which was delightful and I would also recommend.

Perfect in every way!

My family of 5 just enjoyed a week in Marie's lovely apartment. It was beautifully decorated with all the modern conveniences you might need and extremely comfortable beds. The view was breathtaking! We enjoyed having breakfast outside every morning at a the wooden bar in the terrace that looks straight into the bay. The club house has a large swimming pool and a wonderful Greek Restaurant "Santorini" where we enjoyed chatting with his Albanian owner Sergio. Other favorite restaurants were Father Rooster and Picante just a short drive from the apartment. There are multiple activities near by...the new Diamante Eco Adventure Park with it's exhilarating zip line and fantastic animal park. We also went sailing and watched the sunset from the Papagayo Peninsula. We truly enjoyed our stay in this slice of Paradise!!

WOW! We'll be back!

We loved Costa Rica - it was out first trip and we will definitely be back. The owner was so helpful in recommending where to go, and we found the house so welcoming and thoughtfully prepared for our visit. Zip lining was pretty scary , in fact we did lots of things we wouldn't have dreamed of doing normally, but exploring was part of the fun. We loved the local club and facilities it offered. Great food - nice people, what more could we ask for?

4 of us stayed here over 4th of July 2012. Marie was quick to respond from the outset all the way through our stay. She provided contact to the concierge who was able to help out with any tours, car rental, etc. We had already planned everything out, so we didn't need to use this service, but I imagine it would be very helpful for many. The condo itself is very sizeable, nicely decorated, comfortable, and of course the view is amazing. The complex is close by town, and with a car you are close to a myriad of restaurants, shopping, etc. We were very happy with our stay overall! Thanks, Marie.

This condo is breathtaking inside and out. The decorating is simple and luxurious. The view is absolutely beautiful and it is so peaceful. The place was very clean and equipped with all the amenities to make your stay comfortable and effortless. I enjoyed the pool area, tennis and of course the restaurant Pisces which serves delicious, healthy local food. You are just a short distance away from town with wonderful restaurants and shopping. Marie was very welcoming and made sure we had all that we needed and then some. This place is so wonderful, it makes it hard leave...guess I just have to book my next trip!!!

Amazing Condo in Costa Rica!!

I had never been to Costa Rica before this trip, and now I can't wait to go back! This condo and Coco Bay Estates was breathtaking! All of the amenities from home while minutes away from some of the most beautiful coastline in the world. The view from the condo was amazing...sipping coffee on the fully landscaped stone patio while overlooking the bay was so peaceful. I would definitely recommend this condo and Coco Bay Estates...which also offers a beautiful pool, fully equipped fitness center and top of the line restaurant all just steps from your front door. I can't wait to return to Costa Rica, and I plan to stay here again.

Gorgeous Condo in Coco Bay Costa Rica

This condo in Coco Bay Estates is wonderful. Comfortable, it has all the amenities one could ask for. The view from the patio overlooking the bay is gorgeous, such a great spot for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. The complex has a beautiful pool and fitness facility. Pisces, the on premise resatuarant is wonderful, great fresh food, beautifully prepared and presented.

GREAT STAY WOULD USE AGAIN

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the restaurant on site Pisces was delicious and the pool was pleasant. The unit was very clean and had wonderful views. Air conditioning rocked. Only thing it needed was a blender and they said they would get that in there. Marie was delightful to work with and had everything arranged for our stay. I recommend renting a car as a must. We got along with a Fred Flintstones rental but next time I would do a small 4x4 as there are many little off roads to explore and find nice pristine beaches.

Excellent Value Super Clean Place

We had a wonderful time here, you will feel safe and secure. Awesome views and rocking good AC. Slept like a baby every night and the deck for evening drinks was wonderful. I recommend renting a car however as there are many places and beaches to explore in the area. We were on the go every day. The Pisces restaurant in the facility is worth the stop for lunch and dinner. The pool was very pleasant. Marie was wonderful to work with and she had everything arranged for our stay when we arrived.

Why they chose this property

Sometimes things are just meant to be ... on a vacation in Playa del Coco with friends and family I reconnected with friends after a 10 year lapse. Turns out they had recently moved to Costa Rica and were in the process of building Coco Bay Estates! My son Brandon moved down almost immediately and worked at Coco Bay Estates, and I now own a condo in the community. It's felt like home since the beginning!
