Not tranquil

There is a delapatated, abandoned house on this property that is intentionally left out of photos. There is a narrow, unlevel path from the driveway down to the lakefront site that makes you cross over an ustable "bridge" made of house siding, and some uneven cinderblocks as "steps". You must traverse this to unolad gear and any time you access the honey bucket. The honey bucket is not cleaned before you arrive, but theres a cleaning fee for each day you stay. There are horsetail weeds everywhere. We did not stay the 2nd night. Owner did not offer to refund 2nd night, only $40 and 2 free nights, in exchange for a 5star review, basically asking me to lie to future campers. I did not accept this offer even after he threatened to give me a bad review also. I am usually a happy camper and i want you to be too!

The abandoned house is mentioned in the ad. Honey bucket is serviced monthly by a local servicer. The guest wanted refund for the whole stay and told me she will leave a bad review if not. Everything we provided in the photo is of the property. Rather than following the guideline, she decided to call multiple times on the personal phone. It felt like she does this often in exchange for a refund of the stay. The campsite is a private campsite sitting on close to 1/2 acre. Of course there will be some weed. Expecting a flawless campsite for $40.00/day is like asking for a prime rib for the price of a Big Mac. Please be realistic Andrea. Be cautious when renting to her. She will try to take advantage of the situation for a refund.
