Exclusive and characteristic villa for 6-8 people with 3-4 twin bedrooms, 3-4 bathrooms in peaceful, relax 1 &1/2 acre garden.
2 bedrooms and bathrooms groundfloor,
1 twin bedroom and bathroom 1st floor with separate entrance and own terrace.
Lounge and 3 bedrooms airconditioned.
1 extra bedroom in souterrain with bathroom.
Comfortable lounge, leather suite, fireplace, phone, sat- flat-TV, DVD with MP3, CD-collection. Cable-access to ADSL-Internet for own PC free of charge. WIFI. Safe.
Sun-/dining room, modern and well equip. kitchen with 3 terraces + patio, marble floors and double glazing.
Large heated and fenced in saltwater-pool in the garden, 2 built in tables and seating, plenty of garden and pool furniture, barbecue, fans.
Sea view hindered by trees and landscape.
Pool and garden maintained.
Plenty parking space.
There are additional charges for electicity per meter for the consuption more than 25€ and for fire wood at 15€ per eheel barrow, but NO COSTS FOR THE FINAL CLEANING.

The villa was fantastic - swimming pool and garden are kept in tip top condition, you have the feeling of beingout in the country. It is very convenient for walking into Carvoeiro and cliff top walks and within walking distance to a few restaurants. Would highly recommend a holiday here.

One of the best holidays we’ve had as a family

A beautiful house with gorgeous gardens, numerous patios and several places to eat. Lovely warm pool in a peaceful setting. Private. Fantastic owners who were very quick to not only respond to questions but also check everything was ok. Within walking distance of a beautiful beach with lovely cliffs and a superb restaurant. At night the atmosphere is beautiful with the lighting. Magical. Can’t fault it. I’d recommend it to all.

Fantastic!

'Castelo do Mar' exceeds all expectations. A fantastic tastefully/traditionally furnished villa with beautiful terrace, garden and swimming pool (optionally heated). Location is breathtaking and close to beautiful beaches and the characteristic and lively coast village of Carvoeiro. The owners and the local manager/administrator are very involved and service-oriented. In short, an absolute must for a top stay in the Algarve!

la villa est tres bien située. Mais surtout le jardin est magnifique avec de nombreuses terrasses et salons pour profiter de cet écrin de verdure. La piscine est également tres agréable. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce superbe lieu.

É difícil encontrar junto ao mar uma propriedade com uma tal extensão de jardim e espaço verde em geral. Apesar de existirem construções a toda a volta, o arvoredo, as vedações e um pátio interior proporcionam zonas muito agradáveis e reservadas. A piscina é excelente e a casa está muito bem equipada. Os proprietários e a gestora da propriedade são muito atenciosos. Muito obrigado!

Tranquilidade e recato

Uma excelente opção para uns dias de férias em familia ou com um grupo de amigos. A vivenda é muito acolhedora, apesar de algum mobiliário interior já denotar o peso dos anos. Em contrapartida, toda a envolvente exterior é absolutamente deslumbrante e imensa, com mesas e cadeiras espalhadas por toda a propriedade. Atrevo-me a afirmar que 20 ou 30 pessoas conviveriam tranquilamente na piscina e nos jardins durante o tempo que fosse necessário.

AMAZING PROPERTY

We LOVED our stay at Castelo De Mar, and can't say enough about the fabulous house and location. We were 6 adults and had plenty of room for all. And the Outdoor spaces are incredible.....we ended staying in for dinner every night to enjoy the beautiful outdoor terraces and serene setting. Can't recommend the place (and the owners) enough and hope to return in the future!!!

A Vila é fenomenal, ideal para quem pretende dias tranquilos e relaxar. A casa é muito confortável, totalmente equipada e numa localização esplêndida,fica a 5 minutos a pé da praia. Formidable accueil dans une villa très agréable et très bien équipée. Tout est bien pensé et très soigné. De très nombreux salons extérieurs permettent de profiter d'ambiances différentes, au fil du déplacement du soleil et de la lumière. L'espace piscine est très vaste, le jardin immense et bien entretenu. La villa est facile d'accès et bien située pour découvrir tous les attraits de l'Algarve.

Alles wirklich bestens und immer gerne wieder

Cavoeiro an der Felsalgarve ist wunderschön und auch zur Sandalgarve ist es nicht weit. Im Haus war alles wie in der Beschreibung oder einfach noch besser. Die Foto´s werden diesem Haus fast nicht gerecht. Wir 5 kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für dieses schöne Haus.

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Feriendomizil

Erholung ist hier garantiert! Beim Betreten des liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienhauses überkommt einen das Gefühl als ob man "nach Hause" kommt. Es fehlt wirklich an nichts! Wir haben hier 2 wunderschöne Wochen verbracht, uns fiel es wirklich schwer nach 2 Wochen wieder die Heimreise anzutreten. Haus & Grundstück sind wirklich einzigartig, für uns ist klar wir sehen uns wieder! Die Lage ist leicht außerhalb vom Ortskern, somit sehr ruhig - jedoch nicht weit vom nächsten Strand entfernt. Der Ortskern ist über einen schönen Spaziergang an den Klippen entlang gut erreichbar. Wir hoffen der nächste Aufenthalt lässt nicht zulange auf sich warten :)

Castelo do Mar: Wohlfühloase direkt am Meer

Seit beinahe 15 Jahren verbringen wir unsere schönsten Sommerurlaube auf dem Anwesen " Castelo do Mar". Im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes eine Oase. Unmittelbar am atlantischen Ozean gelegen. Das Haus bietet, neben Meerblick, Platz für mindesten 8 Personen, eine gehobene Ausstattung (Küche, Wohnzimmer, 3 Schlafzimmer, 3 Bäder) und wird umfasst von einem großen sehr gepflegten Grundstück. Der Garten ist traumhaft schön und von den Gastgebern wirklich liebevoll gestaltet. An jeder Ecke grünt und blüht es. Das gesamte Grundstück ist nahezu uneinsehbar. Der von Palmen umzäunte Pool liegt etwas abseits von der großzügigen Hauptterrasse des Hauses. Insgesamt bietet das Domizil vier Terrassen, von denen zwei zum Teil überdacht sind. Durch die zahlreichen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, in Ortsnähe von Carvoeiro, kann man sich wunderbar selbst versorgen. Die kulinarischen Köstlichkeiten, die Portugal zu bieten hat, lassen sich in den vielen, zum Teil zu Fuß erreichbaren, Restaurants genießen. Lange Rede kurzer Sinn: Wer Erholung pur auf einem wunderschönen Anwesen sucht, sollte unbedingt mit den wirklich tollen Gastgebern Kontakt aufnehmen und einen Urlaub, zusammen mit Familie und/oder Freunden, buchen! Leider kann ich dieses Jahr nicht dort sein! Hoffe aber sehr, dass es 2019 wieder klappt...

wunderbare Ferien

Die Tage im Castelo waren einmalig. Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet und es ist alles vorhanden für Hobby-Köche. Die Umgebung mit den tollen Bepflanzungen und diversen Sitzgelegenheiten, ein Paradies. Das Meer und das Dorf Carvoeiro sind bequem zu Fuss erreichbar. Wir kommen immer gerne wieder. Gaby P.

Belle maison mais....

Maison très confortable avec magnifique jardin et belle piscine. Accueil chaleureux. Au mois d août elle mériterait d'être climatisée. La note générale est dégradée à cause des nombreux caffards qui ont terrorisé mon épouse mais surtout par le gros chien du voisin qui nous à réveillé tôt tous les jours.

Traumhaftes Häuschen in der Algarve!!

Im August durften wir (4 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder) für zwei Wochen in diesem wunderschönen kleinen Juwel an der Algarve wohnen. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet und es mangelt an nichts; ein Gärtner, Poolboy und Haushälterin die ab und zu vorbeikommen sorgen dafür, dass alles top gepflegt und sauber ist. Unsere Kinder konnten nicht genug vom Swimmingpool bekommen, und zig Sitzmöglichkeiten im Schatten oder Sonne mit immer variierenden Aussichten ermöglichen zu jeder Uhrzeit angenehmes Zusammensein. Zwei kleine Strände sind fussläufig in Reichweite, Spaziergänge an den Klippen bei Sonnenuntergang direkt vor der Tür traumhaft schön. Wir waren komplett begeistert und können diese kleine Oase nur weiterempfehlen, ein herzliches Dank auch nochmal an die netten Gastgeber!

Es ist wirklich ein Ferienparadies!!!

Wir haben einen wundervollen Urlaub im Castelo do Mar verbracht. Die Lage ist phänomenal. Man ist zu Fuß in Carvoeiro und hat auf dem riesigen Grundstück trotzdem das Gefühl völlig abgeschieden zu sein. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich vorstellen kann. Gäste, die im Urlaub gerne auch ausgiebig kochen, finden wirklich alles was man dazu braucht. Da stellt sich nur die Frage, in welcher der vielen schönen Sitzgelegenheiten man den Tisch decken möchte… Falls es uns zu heiß war, haben wir im herrlichen Innenhof gesessen. Für jede Tageszeit und wahrscheinlich auch Jahreszeit gibt es den idealen Sitzplatz mit wirklich schönen Gartenmöbeln! Überhaupt ist der Garten ein Traum! Trotz des Hochsommers waren überall blühende Pflanzen. Wir haben schon oft Häuser an der Algarve gemietet, das war der absolut schönste Garten! Man merkt, dass dort jemand ein besonderes Händchen für Pflanzen und Blumen hat. Besonders angenehm fanden wir auch, dass die Eigentümer, die Verwalterin und natürlich die gute Perle des Hauses besonders sympathisch und nett sind!! Gastfreundschaft und auch Vertrauen in die Gäste wird hier groß geschrieben! Ich kann diesen schönen Platz auf Erden wirklich uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen!

Fabuleuses vacances en Algarve

Une région magique, une maison superbe. Bien qu' a côté des commodités , des principaux commerces et des animations de la ville de carvoeiro , nous étions dans ce magnifique jardin isolés du monde et très tranquille. La maison est spacieuse avec tout l'équipement nécessaire , l'espace piscine parfait . L'accueil et le personnel était très sympathique ... Même les goélands qui nous réveillaient le matin et nous accompagnaient le soir dans nos veillées sur la terrasse . 3 plages accessibles à pieds ! Et de super Resto aussi. Bref rien redire , nous retournerons à Castelo do mar... Merci !

Perfect Koliday

We have experienced the greatest holiday of the past years in the Castelo do Mar. With 6 people, 3 children and 3 adults, we spent two wonderful weeks in the house and on the beach. The Castelo, with its extensive gardens and its swimming pool is a perfect holiday home and a paradise for children and parents. The nearest beach can be reached within walking distance in a few minutes. Due to careful and detailed furnishing, a fantastic kitchen and numerous seating and dining areas the holiday is truly a dream. Our stay became by the excellent care by waiters in the house and garden into a genuine recovery The holiday has been rounded off by excellent restaurants in the vicinity, numerous shops and great beaches. We'll be back, that's for sure.

Ein Traum!

Wir waren nun schon das dritte Mal im Castelo do Mar, und es wird - man glaubt es kaum.- von Mal zu Mal schöner! Das riesige, gut abgeschlossene und vor neugierigen Blicken geschützte Grundstück mit dem Salzwasserpool ist ein Traum für Erwachsene und Kinder, und auch zu elft hatte jeder seine ruhige Ecke wenn er wollte. Die Terasse(n) unter Palmen bieten Platz fürs Sonnen und lecker gekochte Mahlzeiten aus der gut ausgestatteten Küche, und zu den nächsten, recht leeren Stränden geht man auch nur fünf Minuten zu Fuss. Wir kommen gerne wieder und freuen uns jetzt schon auf das nächste Mal!

Obwohl vom Grundstück und den zahlreichen Sitzgelegenheiten möglich, sind 11 Personen eine absolute Ausnahme, weil kleine Kinder dabei waren.

Wunderbarer Urlaub in einer kleinen Oase

Wir waren im April 2015 für leider nur eine Woche im Castelo de Mar und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Zum einen ist diese Ecke der Algarve unheimlich schön, zum andere ist das Haus und vor allem das Grundstück ein Traum. Wir waren nur zu viert (zwei Erwachsene und zwei kleine Kinder von 1,5 und 3,5 Jahren) im Haus und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist erheblich mehr Platz als für vier Personen, das Grundstück und das Haus sehr groß. Der Pool ist gut gesichert mit einem Tor mit Kindersicherung, so dass wir keine Angst hatten, dass unsere kleinen selbständig zum Pool gehen. Wir haben den Blick auf das Meer und den Sonnenuntergang von der Terrasse im erste Stock genossen und tagsüber die Terrasse im Erdgeschoss, den wunderbaren Garten (riesig groß!) und natürlich den Pool. Ein Mietwagen ist eigentlich Pflicht, man kann tolle Ausflüge von Carvoeiro aus machen, auch wenn Strand und Restaurants in Laufdistanz sind.

Familienurlaub zu 11 Personen im Castelo da Mar

Wir haben 1 Woche einen traumhaften Familienurlaub zu 11 Personen im Castelo do Mar verbracht, Am schönsten war es jeden Tag im Salzwasser-Swimming Pool zu baden und abends alle zusammen auf der mit Palmen beleuchteten Terrasse zu sitzen, wo man gemeinsam grillen und essen konnte.

Why they chose this property

The house was purchased when Carvoeiro sill was a small and cosy fishing village.. The village has changed consderably, but our house has kept it´s charme.

What makes this property unique

almost wiithout any neighbours, however in walking distance to the village center and close to the beach, A big garden with a pool almost hidden from outside views. A property which you hardly find again in Carvoeiro.
