Fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, Big Daddy's boasts 9 spacious bedrooms and luxury living accommodations with all the finest upgrades. The spacious, open floor plan offers three dining areas and ample living space to entertain and visit with your family and friends. Take in the beautiful panoramic ocean views from the windows, large decks and private porches. Big Daddy's is exquisitely decorated and unique touches can be found throughout the home. The warm, inviting interior design creates a great vacation atmosphere.

Enjoy watching the pelicans fly and dolphins play in the surf from your private dune-top deck and private walkway to the beach. Relax and unwind by the private oceanfront pool and 6 person hot tub or lounge around all day on the extensive ocean front deck. If it's activity you want, play a game of volleyball or go exploring at the beach. In the evening, come back and cook burgers and dogs on the charcoal grill.

Big Daddy's is located close to everything Outer Banks. It is in the perfect location in the heart of Nags Head, which means less driving and more relaxing. Close to fine dining, shopping and attractions. Close to Roanoke Island, home to The Lost Colony Outdoor Drama, NC Aquarium, and Kill Devil Hills, sight of the First Flight and the Wright Brothers Memorial. Also just minutes from a well known landmark that supposedly got its name since it was a well known horse racing spot. Spectators would climb to the highest dunes to view the races below, we now call Jockey's Ridge. Visitors climb to the top, fly kites and even hang glide from this unbelievable sand dune formed by Mother Nature.

Big enough for everyone

It was nice but needs repairs and upgrades. I loved the space and the location but the house was worn and the beds were awful. The stove burners did not all work, which made cooking for a large group challenging. I had a rental home in OBX before and upgraded it every year.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Big Daddy's. It is unfortunate that your week was cute short due to the storm. Please note that none of our homes provide paper products or trash bags, these items are up to our guests to provide. Trash is picked up at regular intervals by the county. Unfortunately sand in oceanfront pools is difficult to eliminate due to the proximity to the beach and sand. I do hope that you would stay with us again and hopefully your next trip would be more enjoyable and not cut short by bad weather. We would love to have you stay with us again!

Reviewer Comments: Place was well equipped with all the amenities-weather was great-beautiful sunrises-volleyball net on lawn was great-pool and hot tub were well used-only issues we had were the ROKU tv's were hard to figure out and there was a missing curtain rod on the second floor bedroom facing the sunrise every morning that needed to be replaced-and-the parking was tight for a nine bedroom house-but-we figured that out and recommend anyone who wants a great stay to stay at Big Daddy's-u won't regret it-memories are forever-

Great Property on the Beach

Nice big property with many bedrooms with most having en-suite bathrooms. Right on the beach and the top floor has a great view. Great location with Food lion just 3-4 minutes away and a Lucky Tavern opposite to the property. The only issue we had was the internet was not fast enough for the kids and adults to work.

Reviewer Comments: Great location with waking to bar (across the street) shaved ice down the road and mini gold and much more. 16 steps to a private beach because public access not close. House is so large that no one is on top of each other. You can eat as much as you like because the are 3 floors with a lot of steps. Large front yard for outside fun.

Big Daddy Needs Updating

There were several spindles that were only hanging on with one nail plus there is no gate to the stairs - not safe with small kids.

The property maintenance manager was fantastic, he stopped by to repair an item on the first day from the previous guest. We did, however, have to wash the sheets and bedding upon arrival as it was extremely questionable if they had actually been changed and one guest room had a bowl and snack wrapper still on the floor. Other than these issues, that we fixed ourselves, the house and overall vacation were terrific!

Family Beach Week

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our 2023 family beach week was during July 4th week. This pet friendly property is all about location, location, location. Our own easy access to the beach plus the pool is wonderful. And we had front row seats to fireworks from the pier. Easy access to the strip for shopping, groceries, etc. and we found out (unfortunately ) easy access to the hospital. There were a few minor issues like wifi didn't work for a couple days which hampered working family members, but Beach Realty is VERY responsive and took care of our needs right away. The upstairs living area was perfect for our 12 person party. Sunrises were incredible, Booty Treats is in walking distance and this was an epic family vacation.

Needs TLC

Reviewer Comments: When we got to our home, we noticed there were no bath towels and 6 beds didn’t have sheets. We let the company know but didn’t get any towels or sheets our first night. We had to go buy sheets so no one had to sleep on a bare mattress. The dining table was so sticky we couldn’t even play cards; had to go buy a cheap tablecloth. Both dishwashers needed their racks replaced; they were rusty and missing pieces. We were disappointed by the property’s condition. The pool was nice, location great. Disappointed in the response from Beach Realty about the sheets and towels.

A lovely family getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home fit our group of 28 very nicely. There is enough space that you have plenty of room to go if you don't want to be on the main level or in a bedroom. The pool was fantastic as the ocean was closed for swimming one day. We are used to staying in homes that are not from a big rental company and comes with garbage bags, laundry soap etc... and this one did not so we had to go buy toilet paper right away. There were some burned out bulbs up high that we couldn't reach, we had to fix the dishwasher so when you opened it, the whole thing didn't come falling out. The drains in some of the bathrooms had black stuff coming up and drained really slow and there was tons of dust covering the vents.... but that was the extent of 'poor' things. The size, layout, location, sunsets and sunrises, volleyball court were exceptional!

Needs up dates deep cleaning

Reviewer Comments: # started out no couldn't keep our cell number to contact us.#2.got in floor were dirty tried to Vacuum it wouldn't pick had a plug we cleaned it out of a lot of dog hair. #3.Then we went to have something to eat the dishes were Dirty 3/4 of them so started dish washer #4. Called office because of Smell in basement. they never showed up or called. #5.The one roon they had someone come to clean the carpet before we could get in we had a damp blanket in closet stunk of dog urine. and mattress pad was fecal matter on it and not just s small amount. #6. Management couldn't take the time answer any of our Messages or emails that's why we waited to write this late

A little TLC could go a long way

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I imagine Big Daddy's was once a wonderful beach house, and probably could be again, with a little attention. The location was fantastic and the description of the home was fine, with one exception. The pictures show a grassy area in the back of the house, large enough to allow your dog to roam or to play games. However that area appears to have been cut in half and given over to the property next door. Quite deceiving and disappointing. Some other items of note: The top floor main room had 4 window AC units in it. We asked whether the Central AC was working, was told that it was, and that the units should have been removed weeks ago. It was quite humid upstairs. Also, one of the wooden shudders over the windows was not secured and banged against the house in the wind, keeping us up all night. We told Beach Realty that morning but they never came out. The banging shudder returned 4 days later. Big Daddys has a number of small items to fix that would go along way...such as....changing out one of the dishwashers (looked so bad, we wouldn't use it), making sure all the lights work and had light bulbs (some didn't), fixing the gate from the car area to the backyard, getting a new stable step into the hot tub, improving wifi (signal was so bad in parts of the house, we used hotspots) and making a call to pest control (saw more than one cockroach during our stay). Time to put a little more investment into Big Daddy's. It could go a long way.

Reviewer Comments: we had a good time and made do with the short comings of the property. It was pretty dirty and in need of upgrades. The property management did respond to a few safety concerns promptly. Dinning table was so bad we bought a table cloth to cover it. Was expecting a better for the crazy money I spent for that prime week. But with 4 generations from all over the world there, we opted to make the best of it. could be a great place with some reinvestment, common sense upgrades. If this review is published, ask if upgrades have been done before you rent.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view was spectacular, and lodging was sufficient for our group of 18, but the overall condition, disgusting. Big Daddy’s was selected as our Summer Vacation destination to celebrate 3 Anniversaries (2 x 30 yrs & 1 x 58 yrs), and the first Great Grandbaby/Grandbaby. We traveled in from Austin, San Antonio, Boston, Philly and Charlotte. (Some of us frequent the OBX). To say that our initial impression of the condition and cleanliness of the house was disappointing, is a gross understatement. The general condition of the home was appalling. The kitchen was covered in crumbs, not stocked to accommodate capacity (or 19 adults) we had to purchase a spatula as something clean to use...towels were sparce, floors were dirty, sinks were clogged, shower curtains were moldy, one washing machine was inoperable, pool guy came, checked the chemical and water level, but pool was left very sandy. At first sight, it appeared the house had not been cleaned in quite some time. The entryway windows were cloudy, interior stairs were dirty, countertops were filthy, bathroom floors were covered in hair and dirt, toilets...gross. (we have the photos) The ceiling fans were covered in dust, dirt, maybe pet hair, not certain. We cleaned each one with cleaning supplies we packed, thankfully. Kitchen: The stove was covered in grime, and clearly the countertops were not cleaned prior to our arrival. There was ketchup (or something) in the drawer to the left of the stove, where the oven gloves were also coated in something. The limited kitchen/cooking utensils provided was disappointing (and a struggle) for a home of this size and capacity. Both refrigerators were missing shelves which limited the amount of food and beverages we were able to store. Additionally, the grill was atrocious and NO CLEANING brush was provided as specified in the departing instructions! THE AIR INTAKE VENTS had not been cleaned, it appeared, thick with dirt and dust. Good beach house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I gave Big Daddy's a 4 but that does come with some qualification and call outs. This is a good Beach House with decent accommodations for a large group of people. The house and pool area were clean and the AC worked well for such a large house. Access to the beach is great and the location on Nags Head is convenient to everything.The house is dated however and could use some general maintenance and updating. The TVs are really a joke. The main TV is something my kids have in their rooms at home. My Mac air is bigger than the TVs in the bedrooms. Not important to some or perhaps most so just mentioning. The decking and outside stairs and pathway to the beach need general maintenance as several nails protrude and caught my daughters leg. Up on the upper patio there are several loose boards again with nails protruding. The washer and dryer combinations are older and in our case tended to eat cloths rather than wash them. we were looking forward to playing some Bbal but the rim was broken and not able to be played. We did play some volleyball however. The microwave tended to fry most of what we put in it and we could not figure out what we were doing wrong. Lastly, the sink in the master was actually a contemporary bowl however the execution of bowl and spigot did not work well as you tended to soak all that was around the bowl within about 6 inches or so.So, again, 4 stars for the good things mentioned in the first paragraph. Also no hot water issues during showers and dishes etc. However I'm not sure I would do this house again for the $$$$ price paid.Family had a good time and we'll return to the Outer Banks.Thanks

Not a place we would stay again

Reviewer Comments: The location was good but the house was a throwback to the 90's. Just about everything was old, dirty and worn.Outdoor bathroom was filthy with black mold everywhere.Used dog bones and piles of sand all over the pool area.House smelled.Many light bulbs didn't work.Black mold in some of the interior showers.Extremely worn and loose exterior deck boards including stair risers that were unsafe.Gate to the beach was broken and falling off.Cracked tiles all over the basement.Both sets of laundry machines were broken and ate clothing which ruined them.Stained and nasty carpets and upper floor couch was just gross.Some windows permanently fogged over hampering beach view.Overall very poor quality and condition, this house needs a major refurbishing. Would not recommend to anybody, especially considering the high price to rent.

Perfect week-perfect house!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had the perfect beach week and it all started with this wonderful home. There were 2 families and 4 dogs total. There was always plenty of space to relax, sleep and enjoy all the amenities. Loved the dog play/pee area...plenty big and made letting them out easy and leash-free. The walk to the beach was a breeze and nice to leave all of our beach supplies each day on the landing deck near the beach. The views on the upper deck are spectacular-loved viewing the pier each day and watching gorgeous sunrises and moonlight over it. We loved the location as well, it's close to grocery stores, outlets and fun excursions like putt putt/rope climb. Overall, this was a perfect week for us and we would come back to this house again.

Location is Everything - House Needs some TLC

Reviewer Comments: First, let us say that the location of the house is stellar; close to just about everything and the pub across the street (Lucky 12) is awesome.The beach views were grand and it simply was a very very nice location. Some of the decor is fantastic (great murals!).We have stayed at other properties by the same owner and thought this would be on par, but there was some disappointment.The house is starting to show its age and the lack of upkeep and overall “small” touches that make a house great were lacking. Not sure if it an ownership or home management issue. Other houses we’ve been to at least give you a starter kit of dish soap, towels, toilet paper, etc.; this place had nothing. The carpet is kind of gross, and we get that it was the end of the season, but it really needs to be updated. The couch on the main level is also gross and flipping cushions only shows worse wear. Ewww. One dishwasher did not work, one coffee maker did not work, and the stereo did not work. Once plus was the cable had all of the channels to include premium movie channels. There is PLENTY of seating for a meal inside, but to enjoy sunrise or gaze at the ocean outside is a disappointment. Only TWO deck chairs (high-top) up top other than the four table chairs which sit below the rail. No matter, six chairs does not cut it for a place that can hold so many. The bathrooms are kind of old with cracked tiles, the decks are splintery , and the hot tub cover weighs a lot and is tattered and not easy to get off. When we did get into the hot tub the water was WAY down (had to add it) and there were no chlorine tabs in the dispenser leaving us to wonder when it was last serviced. A bag of house linens sat in the carport for most of the week. We won’t mention in detail the terrible bed in one master room and a strange contraption on the ceiling that left us in wonder. We won’t be back to this one and have to think hard about the other sister properties.
