Hi Mo, Thank you for the review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the convenient location and had a nice stay. Walking to Pitt and CMU is definitely a plus! We’d be happy to host you again anytime.
We loved the main level living space and decorations are unique and gave the home so much charm. It's an older home, so the floors are pretty squeaky, but we didn't mind too much. Comfy beds, great light blocking shades and A/C worked great. We have booked this home again for our next visit.

So happy to hear you enjoyed the house and its charm! Glad the beds, shades, and AC helped make your stay comfy. Thanks for rolling with the squeaky floors, part of the character of an older home. Can’t wait to host you again on your next trip!
The home is an authentic 100 year old townhome on a quiet private drive. For those that want walkability, this is a great location. Can get to Shadyside, Carnegie-Mellon/Schenley Park and North Oakland in under 20 minute walks. The classic architecture of the homes in the neighborhood made the walking journey as fulfilling as the destinations. Great neighborhood restaurants with my fill of Primanti's, perogies, and pizza!

Hi Scott, Thanks so much for the thoughtful review! Sounds like you really soaked in the charm of the neighborhood and made the most of the walkable spots nearby. Glad the home was a good fit and that you got your fill of Primanti’s and pierogies! We'd love to have you back anytime.
Had a great stay, house clean very nice a little weird all closets locked and one door covered with black sheet and drawings on them. always concerned if we would have an parking spot out front or close by, beds very hard. But it was a good location . Thanks

Hi Lois, Thank you for sharing your experience. We appreciate your feedback on the house and the amenities. Noted on the closets and the beds; we'll keep this in mind for future improvements. It's good to know the location worked well for you. We hope to have the chance to host you again! Safe travels.
Let me preface this by saying I know the house is old. The floors were SO creaky. The AC was struggling the whole time. The kitchen and bathrooms were updated with modern touches. Wish there were some USB charging outlets or options like that for the bedrooms. There were a lot of owners’ items with signage to leave alone, which is totally okay, but does feel less welcoming. The garbage and recycling was a debacle (we stayed over the garbage/recycling pick up time) and the cans along the whole street were emptied by someone, we didn’t see any other bags out even though we bagged as instructed, so you might want to update those instructions? Otherwise the stay was pleasant!

Hi Leah, Thanks for the honest feedback. We're really glad you enjoyed the location and liked the updates in the kitchen and bathrooms. Definitely hear you on the creaky floors and AC. We’ll have the team give both a once over just to be safe. And that’s a solid callout about USB ports, we’ll keep that in mind for future upgrades.
Sorry for the hassle with the trash and recycling. It can definitely be a little tricky with local rules, but we looked into it during your stay and turns out Pittsburgh actually wants recyclables tossed loose into the blue bin, no bags, and the bin itself needs to be at the curb on pickup day. We’ll tweak the guest guide so it’s clearer moving forward.
Thanks again for staying with us and for taking the time to share your thoughts. Wishing you smooth travels ahead!
We arrive late in evening, and it was 84 degrees in the house. The A/C T-stat showed A/C running. I contacted the property management, and they were going to send a tech out in the AM. That didn't happen, so, we booked a hotel room for the second night. Management contacted me the next day to say that we couldn't stay there for the last three nights. I am still waiting for reimbursement. Communication has been good.
