Place was great! Kitchen was well stocked with appliances. Outdoor space was great for kids to run around. Loved that there were games for the kids too. Beds were really comfortable (I love a firm mattress), lots of pillows and blankets, and the water pressure was strong. Would definitely recommend if visiting Apple hill area. Thankful for the host in letting us have bigger kids stay in the house- was a bit tight for us so I would recommend the max age/limit that was listed.

Perfect VRBO!

We loved staying at this lovely oasis in the middle of the woods. The home is clean with simple decorating that feels elegant, and just what you need to cook and feel right at home. No complaints! We hope to stay again!

House is great. Host was very responsive, communicative. Easy check in and check out process. Great house for multiple families. We had 6 adults, 4 kids (7-10 year olds). Lovely back yard for kids to explore/play and adults to relax and still be able to watch kids. We all enjoyed our weekend.

We had an amazing time at this cabin! Well stocked kitchen. Backyard space was so much fun an cozy for us all to enjoy. The kids loved the play area in the backyard. The whole house was clean and decorated so nicely! We will for sure be staying here again the next time we come up to enjoy Apple Hill area! Thank you Christine!

Cozy Family Getaway

My family enjoyed our time here. We were able to just sit back, relax, and enjoy some time away from our busy lives. Management was very accommodating and quick to respond to our needs. Hosts did an amazing job making everything feel cozy and clean. Love the home decor. I appreciated all of the details.

Beautiful stay in Pollock Pines

The cabin is just as pictured, cozy and inviting, perfectly comfortable for my family. Groceries is just 5 minutes away, Apple Hill 20 minutes and Sly Park just amazing also 5 minutes away. Christine was quick and responsive to any questions we had about the cabin and area. The cabin is very modern, everything digital so just need to be prepared to using your phone to unlock doors and such. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Our stay was outstanding from start to finish. The location was perfect for our golfing trip, just a short drive to Apple Mountain Golf Resort and about an hour scenic drive along Highway 49 through beautiful Gold Country to The Ridge Golf Course in Auburn.The house had ample room for four adults, with space to spare. The decor, beds, and furnishings were all clean, comfortable, and gave the home the ideal modern mountain cabin vibe. The property is nicely updated and included all of the necessary linens, kitchenware, and amenities to make for a very comfortable stay.The fire pit made for a great hangout spot under the trees and stars, and there is even a BBQ on the deck, although we did not use it during this stay.Our host, Christine, was also amazing. Her communication was second to none and made the entire experience seamless.I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Placerville or Pollock Pines area.

Great home for a great price

We were amazed by how clean and well stocked this house was. Everything we could have needed or wanted was there! And the host was super responsive and helpful. The parking can be tricky, but I think the information in the property description does a great job of letting you know what to expect ahead of time. If I had one suggestion for improvement it would be to replace the mattresses on the beds. We all felt that they were not the most comfortable.

Loved this home! It was decorated beautifully and felt very homey. It was very clean and well stocked. The firepit was so fun, and the host even supplied a tray with all the s’mores stuff. The coffee selection was great, including syrups, sugar and creamer. My kids loved all the games and the swing out back. The annual pass for Jenkinson Lake was much appreciated. Just a heads up the driveway is steep and awkward. It would also be nice if the back deck was blown off on arrival. Overall, a wonderful stay, and would come back.

We had an amazing family getaway at this beautiful four-bedroom cabin! You can tell how thoughtful the host is by all the small details and amenities provided—it really felt like a home away from home. The location is ideal: super convenient to Safeway for groceries, and close to Sly Park, local wineries, and Lake Tahoe. Service dog welcomed. Communication was seamless and prompt throughout our stay. Highly recommend booking this place!
