The Pirate Pad is a well equipped 3 Bed, 2 Bath house located 1.2 miles west of ECU Campus just off 10th Street. A short .25 mile walk to the Harris Building (Printing & Graphics) if using campus transportation. Also close to downtown, stadiums, medical center and shopping. No need to go out to eat if you don't want. The kitchen is fully stocked if you like to cook. The house is super convenient to visit your student, drop in for work, traveling medical workers, remote working and ECU medical center.

Comfortly Furnishings makes hanging out and watching sports or a movie super relaxing and with a three rooms there is space to spread out. The primary features a queen bed, the additonal guest rooms have a double and twin (all medium firm mattresses) so you will get a great nights rest.

We are ECU parents that live out of state. So we want to open up our little home to other families like ours that want a bit more than a hotel can offer when you come visit. We do allow for pets, dogs under 70lbs, but additional fees will apply. Please message us if you have any questions or would like to book directly with the owners.

This was our first trip to Greenville and we were very pleased with Sue and Charlie’s home. Everything we needed was provided for us. The home was very clean, comfy and just perfect for our family. Sue was very responsive and a wonderful host! We would definitely stay here again.

Host was very responsive! The beds were comfortable and the water had good pressure and could get as hot as you’d like. The house itself could use some work. The front door had 3 large splits in it that were just duct taped over. The heating and cooling instructions and limits were confusing.

Great Clean Condo for ECU Parents

We needed a place to stay to move our daughter in the ECU dorms. This condo worked perfectly for us. The condo is clean and cozy which is a high standard to meet for my liking. The location is perfect with lots of shopping and restaurants as well as close to campus. The hosts were easy to work with and we would definitely stay here again.

Good place to stay to visit ECU

My family wanted to come and visit the oldest kid at ECU but would like to stay in a more homey environment than a hotel/motel. I wanted to find us a go-to spot so for the next 4 years I could visit my kid regularly while still be able to cook and maintain a home-like space for the rest of my family. Well I certainly found it! Comfortable, well-equipped and close to everything. So comfortable my college student came and stayed with us for the weekend! Loved it and will be getting on the calendar to book a few trips back for the upcoming school year.

We're the Ruedi's. Our son is an ECU student who is very ambitious and invested in this house in Greenville to live in while attending college. He decided to take an RA position which has left the house open for us to visit him and go to ECU events as well as other families to do the same. We're happy to share the Pirate Pad.

Why they chose this property

This neighborhood is close to campus and ECU stadiums. You can catch the ECU bus at the Harris Building on 10th and be on campus in minutes for free. The area has well cared for older homes with kind neighbors who walk in the mornings and evenings. Super charming and safe! Greenville isn't that big so we're a short drive to the Convention District and Medical Center too. Super convenient spot!

What makes this property unique

This little house is in a quiet neighborhood that is super homie so we feel safe and comfortable when we are there. It has a yard to grill and hang out and allows us to bring our family dog when we visit. Guests can bring a dog too (but we do have rules and a pet fee to do so).
