About this property

Tempe Home Away from Home

Bring the whole family and enjoy a relaxing stay in our roomy and conveniently located Tempe home! Entertain your guests in our chef-inspired kitchen equipped with all you need to prepare out of this world meals to be shared around our custom dining table with seating for up to 12. Easy access to all that Phoenix has to offer, located just 20 minutes from Old Town Scottsdale and 15 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.
The space
Our home underwent a complete renovation during the summer of 2022. We updated the entire home and added almost 1,000 sq feet, as well as installed all new landscaping. The space is bright and airy with plenty of room for guests to relax and enjoy the area. We are a family with children, so the house is well equipped for kids. We supply a high chair, pack n' play, children's eating/drinking utensils, as well as indoor and outdoor games the entire family will enjoy. The backyard is expansive with room for cornhole or giant Jenga. It's beautiful in the evenings and a perfect place to sit and watch the sunset.

We are located in a prime area of Tempe - just minutes from all freeways in any direction - and walking distance to Arizona's Tempe Canal System where locals love to walk, run, and bike ride. We are a 15 minute drive to the airport and a short 20 minutes from some amazing restaurants and bars in Old Town Scottsdale or Downtown Gilbert.

Just a three minute drive from the house you will find a Fry's Grocery store, Panera, Pei Wei, Trader Joe's, Changing Hands Bookstore, Wildflower Cafe, Baskin Robbins, and Walgreens. It's really one of the best intersections in Tempe!

We take so much pride in our home and hope you love it as much as we do!
Guest access
You'll have access to the entire home. The garage is locked and used for our storage. There is also a locked closet off of the laundry room that is used for storage.
Other things to note
We do have security cameras in front and back of the house. These were installed when our house was renovated. Our intent is not to spy; we just want to ensure that our home and guests are safe when we are away.

This home was even better than the photos—truly gorgeous! The remodel is high-end and beautifully done! You can tell a lot of care went into every detail, such as the large walk-in pantry ideal for longer stays, and the built-in ice maker. It's perfect for a family as one of the bedrooms has a bunk beds (which may not be ideal for adult guests). The open living room, comfortable couch, and big table was all perfect for playing lots of games! Overall, it’s a lovely home with excellent proximity to the 101, 60 and the 10, plus 3 grocery stores less than 1 mile away! Highly recommend.

Wonderful property

This home is very pretty, has complete amenities, terrific location, friendly hosts, and feels like a true home. I am so pleased that our family was able to stay here and enjoy the comfort. Immediately Comfortable - A Lovely Stay

From the moment we stepped in until the moment we left, we felt at home. Great living areas, multiple zones of air control, and clean, appropriately stocked washrooms made for immediate comfort. Neighborhood and nearby park were great for walking and exercise. Close to everything we needed, including ASU and some great restaurants. Highly recommended!

House had everything and is beautiful

We loved our visit. All of the grandkids (ages 5 - 10) toured the house and settled in the room with the bunk beds and toy cars. They spent a long time playing with the cars—even after our long road trip! They also enjoyed all the outdoor toys, especially Jenga! The house is stunning, especially the kitchen, which has everything you would need. It is in a great location as well. We had a wonderful visit.

Spacious and Comfortable

Tempe Home Away From Home lives up to its name! The newly renovated inside is beautiful. The kitchen is massive with a huge center island. The gathering space has a large sectional couch and seating space to comfortably fit a large group. Also loved the bedrooms and bathrooms. The outdoor space is very comfortable as well. Great host and great space. I highly recommend it!

Perfect Accommodations for Famlies

This house was perfect for my family visit. As we have young children (one under 2), I'm worried about the things they can get into. The layout of this house was perfect for those with young children. In addition to the large open spaces, there were additional perks that I wasn't expecting such as toys for the toddler as well as even a stroller and high chair. Communication was great and will be using again for future trips to the area.

Beautiful Home in South Tempe

My family and I stayed here while visiting family in the area. The home is beautiful and by far one of the nicest short term rentals we’ve experienced. There was some left over trash when we arrived and the floors were could use a deep clean. The property manager was very responsive about the trash situation. A bonus was that there were toys for the littles, puzzles, and board games. Also a beautiful backyard perfect for AZ weather. We’d definitely stay here again.

I wonder how many people go home and plan their remodel based on this home?! One of the best properties we have ever rented. Kitchen and open floor plan- magnificent. All baths are superior. Backyard is lovely and private. Comfortable furniture. Highly recommend this home. Clean. Comfortable. Like home.
