Welcome to our Downtown Dwelling! This home is located 4 blocks from Washington Park in the heart of downtown Ottawa. Enjoy your day hiking the trails and seeing the beautiful waterfalls at Starved Rock State Park, then come back and take a short stroll downtown to enjoy the numerous festivities and restaurants Ottawa has to offer!

This house is cozy and comfortable, being roughly 600 square feet total. It offers a full sized kitchen, with everything needed to cook a family dinner. Beautifully remodeled bathroom with stand-up, walk-in shower. We offer a King bed with ample storage for clothes and a dedicated work space for traveling workers. In the living room we offer a queen sized pull out couch with a 55 inch TV and plenty of games for the kids.

Although we are pet friendly, we do require a one time pet fee of $90.

We love sharing our home with all our guests. However, due to prior disrespectful renters and property damage we will only accept booking requests from:
-- Renters who are above the age of 22.
--Renters who will be staying during the reservation and are not booking for someone else.
--Renters who have less than 5 star reviews.

Our home is located in the heart of downtown Ottawa. With this location, comes train noise. We are right next to an abandoned train track, which should not provide any noise. However, we are about 3 blocks from an active train track. Whistles may be heard every few hours throughout the day and night. They are faint but still may be noticeable if you are not used that kind of noise. We do provide a noise machine and earplugs for guests who may be light sleepers.

Amazing stay! Super clean and cozy. Well stocked and comfortable! Perfect place to rest after days hiking at the beautiful parks nearby. The showerhead is awesome and the water pressure was fantastic! So close to the super cute downtown. Highly recommend.

Great property and location walking distance to many restaurants downtown. Being close to the RR tracks wasn't a concern because in the two days I was there the train didn't even go by. Owners are awesome and fast to respond. Nice parking spot right in front of the house. All in all a great stay!

Small, quaint home. Excellent price and value! The bed was phenomenal; very comfy. Pull out bed was clean and easy to set up. Easy to find and clear directions. Chairs on the porch were a wonderful touch. Shower had amazing pressure. They provided a nice binder of local brochures. Short drive to the state parks. 100% recommend!

Charming small home! We very much enjoyed our stay. The home was super clean, with generous amenities like fresh towels, bathroom supplies, coffee, and tea. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. The AC worked very well. Kitchen and all appliances were new and updated. Lots of cookware. There is a nice porch to sit outside. The location was great, within walking distance to the cute downtown Ottawa, its large park, and lots of restaurants and stores. The neighborhood is very quiet. The train tracks running right next to the house are hardly used - we were there 4 days and never had a train go by. The train tracks that are in use are a ways away, and you barely hear their siren. Sleeping is super quiet! We will gladly return.
