This is a very cute cottage that appears to have been recently renovated. Dogs are definitely the theme and you can tell the host is a dog lover. The fenced yard is a definite plus as was the amazing coffee bar. The property is very close to various restaurants and retail shop's. Very clean and comfortable. The only suggestion for the host would be to add a shower caddy to the bathroom shower. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

About the host
Hosted by Julie Goodell
Originally from Pittsburgh PA (Julie) & Michigan (Eric), we were looking for a winter escape from the cold. With my love of horses and his love of golf we found Aiken, and knew we didn't want to leave. After two years of spending the winter, we made the move permanent and are so glad we did! We got into hosting because when traveling for work up north it was so hard to find a place to stay that allowed pets without huge pet fees. We wanted to make travel easy for those who feel a pet is part of the family.
Why they chose this property
I LOVE this neighborhood. It has such a quiet friendly vibe. You'll always see people out on the quiet streets walking their dogs, jogging and riding bike. Being so close to the parks it's a very active community.
It's close to everything you'd want to see and do in Aiken
What makes this property unique
The back yard is just lovely. Private, peaceful, a great place for the pups to play or to hang out around the fire chatting about the day and planning what's next
