The building is within reach of downtown Chicago, with stores nearby. Overall, the place was clean and set up upon entry. This is a great place to stay for groups of 10-20.
The listing was exactly as advertised! The common space is HUGE which I did not expect so that was an awesome surprise. Plenty of space for a large group. Overall a great stay and would stay again!
The hosts were very accommodating to our needs and were ready to respond to us whenever we called. It's rare to find hosts that are so active in responding to any questions, even on a holiday like Halloween!
Such a great location in Wicker Park. Next to tons of restaurants and nightlife and right off the blue line for easy access to ORD.
The space itself was huge and impressive. Loved the vibes of the exposed brick and natural light.
This unit was more spacious than I could have imagined! There was plenty of space for a large group, the hosts were extremely quick in their responses, and the location was perfect! 10/10 recommend this unit!
This apartment was perfect! It was a perfect size for 13 people! The living area was huge, bedrooms were the right size and all 13 of us had the best time. The Wicker Park neighborhood had all of the shops/food options we needed! Will definitely be back!
Loft was beautiful and well appointed! Great amenities and space for our family of 8 to spread out and relax. We had grandparents and small kiddos with us so it worked well to be able to walk everywhere in vicinity! Parking permits made spots nearby easy to find. Hosts were great but sometimes weren’t immediately available to reply to questions, however this had little impact to how great of an overall stay we had. Lots of stairs so just something to be aware of if you have elderly guests or lots of items to bring/up and down stairs.
We are a family of five from the UK and it was our first trip to Chicago. We couldn’t have picked better! The apartment is huge, tastefully appointed and located in a super cool Chicago neighbourhood. Most of our time was spent in the local bars and restaurants and downtown was just a short 15 minute blue line ride away.
The hosts were very accommodating on some specific requests we made and responded within the hour when we had a persistent beeping smoke alarm (battery needed changing) that couldn’t be reached due to the height of the ceiling. Spectacular urban living space. Thanks.
The location & space were both great. The beds were super comfortable and it really is a great space for large groups. There are a ton of restaurants and bars around the area and within walking distance so we really enjoyed that.Considering the price, we expected more out of our stay. Things to note: the loft is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator so keep that in mind with bringing luggage, etc. The check in process was smooth with a keypad door lock, however the keypad died the first day we were there so we were unable to lock the door when we left. The host communicated with us but was unable to get anyone there to fix it until the next morning. Once the keypad was fixed, our code no longer worked to enter the loft. We were locked out and had to communicate with the host again who gave us a new code - not a huge deal, but definitely inconvenient. There was minimal toilet paper, 0 paper towels or trash bags for us to use. We bought our own, but expected at least some to get us through the beginning of our stay. The biggest issue we had was on Saturday night, there was a DJ that was playing upstairs on the roof of the building. It was incredibly loud and the vibrations shook the entire loft. He played until quite literally 4AM - we got 0 sleep because of it. The curtains in the bedrooms don't do much at all so we woke up early each morning because each room got a lot of natural light. The main common area is huge and a great space, just sharing our experience.
