This house is a fire hazard. The front door opens but there is no access through a back door. Yard appears to be fenced but not complete so pets could escape. Lawn and landscaping is unkept. Grass in back is 2ft long. No go for me.
The neighborhood was a bit scary pulling up and how overgrown the weeds were was a bit concerning but once we got inside it was one of the cleanest houses we have ever stayed in. The coffee pot was well stocked (and the to go cups were a very nice touch). There were a few things about the house that could use some attention and the lack of a full size cookie sheet in the kitchen made dinner plans challenging, but all in all, I would recommend and stay again if I was in Springfield again.

When we arrived at the place, we thought it wasn't it because it looked neglected. Overgrown bushes, lawn not mowed and a large cardboard box on the front porch. Totally different from the picture presented on the site. The inside was clean except for the cushioned chairs around the table. Plenty of towels supplied. The light in the kitchen apparently had been broken before and was taped. The smoke alarm in the one bedroom was hanging from the ceiling and the flooring inside the front door had been broken and tape applied. The location was good. We have stayed at other places but it seems the cost didnt match the condition of the property.
Second year using this house while in town. Great accommodations for the price. The only thing this time were the smoke detectors needed some attention.
The inside of the house was OK and clean, but lacked any kind of character or decor. The outside, however, was totally unkempt and overgrown. No yard work had been done at all for a long time. When we first pulled up to the house, our first impression was to run away. We had to give it a chance because it had already been paid for. It worked out OK, but the bedroom had sheer curtains and there are bright street lights outside the window. Made it hard to sleep.

It was exactly what we needed, and I would gladly stay there again...
I have severe allergies. I don’t remember seeing pictures of carpet in the bedrooms. The carpet was very old and very soiled. There was also a very musty smell in the bedrooms. I slept on the couch the last night. The couch was comfortable and the television picture was beautiful. It would be a great place if they removed the carpet.
It worked out perfect for our family hoping to use it again soon

Property was as listed. Great location from the Fairgrounds, which is what we were in town for. Neighbors we loud and "entertaining" but that has nothing to do with the owners' and the interior of the house was clean and very well in order and perfect for our stay. Would stay here again!
The house was nice and a good place to relax while we were visiting family. It’s not more than 10-15 min from shopping and dining places. We would stay there again.
Pros: Clean house, nice set up, seemed to have everything you would need, comfortable beds, easy access to entertainment. Cons: keyless entry did not work well. Took 4x to get it to unlock. After that, the code wouldn't work any longer, neighborhood was not the best, carpets in bad shape, smoke alarms were not hooked up properly to the ceiling, 1 kept beeping due to low battery, heat did not distribute well in the home. Back bedroom was a sauna compared to the rest of the house.
The beds were very comfortable Location was close to our downtown activities Kitchen supplies were slim no wine glasses available and very little drinking glasses The bath had no wash cloths available Landscaping and lawn was extremely overgrown But the house inside was nice
The home was exactly as advertised. We were comfortable there and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was peaceful and easy to find. It was perfect for our group for a quick overnight stay for an important family event we attended nearby.
