Could use some cleaning. Floors and countertops were dirty and beds had been previously slept in and not turned over. Bathrooms were nice and location was convenient. With a good cleaning could have been a comfortable stay.

We needed a home with 6 bedrooms and this fit the bill. However, we have some tall people in our party and the downstairs rooms are a little shorter. We enjoyed the outdoor seating in the back yard. There is a hot tub, but we didn’t use. For this large of a group, it would have been nice to have more lounge areas inside. Everything was clean, but some furniture could use updating. Overall, satisfied with our stay.

This place is very nice, the instructions were clear and easy, and it is in a great neighborhood that is very quiet and safe. Will definitely book this again for excursions in Billings. The owner was very responsive and sent clear and easy to follow instructions. The off street parking is also super nice, easily will two or three vehicles. The bed rooms are all nice as is the common area.

Everyone gets a bedroom!

We were traveling for a family reunion and we were happy that Big Sky Retreat had 6 bedrooms. Enough room for everyone. Big screen TV, Nice cool AC. Would stay again.

This property was a disappointment and did not match the “upscale retreat” described in the listing. Upon arrival, the home had a strong stale/old-house and cigarette odor. Kitchen surfaces, walls, counters, mirrors, and furnishings were visibly dirty. All six fabric dining chairs were stained, and the couch was stained, worn out, and so sunken that guests struggled to get up. Cleaning supplies were left out, and we later found food debris beside a bed.The advertised bedroom configuration was unclear and did not appear as listed. We only learned after receiving checkout instructions that trundle beds were hidden under existing beds; using them required moving furniture and made access awkward.Most concerning was the insect/spider infestation. We found spiders, beetles, millipedes, and other insects throughout multiple rooms. One guest with a 3-month-old baby found four spiders in their room within minutes and left before the first night, paying for a hotel for the remainder of the stay. We documented more than 20 photos and notified the host, requesting a refund so we could relocate. The host refused and offered cleaning and pest control instead. The cleaner never arrived. A person came the next afternoon, sprayed around the exterior, and sporadically inside. Bug activity continued.Outdoor areas were poorly maintained, with broken patio furniture, weeds, dirt, and debris. We would not stay here again and are asking VRBO to review this stay and our documentation.

4-H State Council Meeting

We were so happy to have a place large enough to accommodate all the board members for on around the state. The place was spacious and relaxing -perfect for our needs!! Although we didn’t use it because of temperature, the back patio was lovely!! Would definitely recommend!!!

Family Wedding in Billings, MT

Communication with the Host, Grant, was VERY helpful in making our trip go smoothly. The check in process was seamless and the home was beautiful. Everything was clean and perfectly ordered for a large family. Beds were very comfortable, showers were lovely, and all appliances worked! The family living area was very comfortable for games and relaxing. The dining table fit us all in for meals together. Just a wonderful experience - honestly, one of the best we've had with home rentals. Thanks Grant for your hard work in making this home a perfect home-away-from-home!

Excellemt Stay

A large group of us traveled to Montana for a curling playdown and wanted to stay together. Grant's Big Sky Retreat was just the place. Easy check-in, clean house, and cozy gathering areas made our trip enjoyable. We took advantage of the backyard fire pit and the furnished kitchen. There were plenty of beds for the 11 of us, and the coffee maker got a workout in the morning.Grant was very communicative throughout the process. He offered an extra night at the beginni g of the stay to accommodate some folks who drove out early to experience Billings before the tournament. And he even stepped us through setting the high tech thermostat.If youre travelling wjth a group to billings and looking for a comfortable, easy option, Big Sky Retreat is your place.

Talk about comfort!!!

I was pleasantly surprised about how comfortable the beds were and everyone with me agreed that their beds were comfortable. The home was very clean even my sister in law who is pretty picky said nothing but good things about the place. It was fun how many bed there were in the house. I loved the layout of the whole house. I would definitely recommend to any large group. I brought my own coffee pot just because I don’t have a Keurig at home so I was familiar with how the coffee is. It felt like a very safe neighborhood.
