Nice kitchen for cooking, comfortable beds, and plenty of space. We had questions about the hearing system and the host was very responsive in assisting us.
Our family had a wonderful fall long weekend. The house was just right for us, and we toasted marshmallows and told spooky stories by the fire pit at night.
The size and layout were perfect for a large family gathering. We easily fit three couples and seven kids; we could have fit even more. The house was an easy drive from both Fish Creek and Ephraim.
Nice accommodations Not enough utensils, pots and pansThe front upstairs bedroom was not well air conditioned, the rest was perfect When I booked it, I did not know there were 2 other unitsThe other renters never bothered us but since we had 7 kids 4-11, we were not sure if we were bothering them
The location was very central with easy access to egg Harbor, sister Bay, and Bailey’s Harbor. The six bedrooms made it easy for a large group. The kitchen and living area was open and easily housed everyone. The fire pit area was also nice. It did appear to be a new unit with still some minor needs. One of the smaller bedrooms had poor ventilation. A couple of the bedrooms only had a bed and a dresser or luggage stand would’ve been helpful. Overall, still very good and greatly enjoyed.
We all enjoyed being together and we had plenty of room! It was like new and accessible to the places we needed! I would definitely go back if we needed that much room again!
The house was large comfortable and very clean. It was easy to get into and well supplied with all of the essentials. We didn’t realize when booking the property that the house was split into three different rentals; however, it wasn’t an issue, just a surprise when we got to the house. Would stay at the house again!

Family vacation
This is a great house for a large family vacation. Only negative was the original listing did not disclose multiple renters on the property with open access for all renters. I believe the listing has been updated but not until after we booked.
We really enjoyed our stay. Location was quiet and on a dead end road, the gps had some trouble but the directions in our check in email were spot on. The house was beautiful, we didn't even notice the other guests in the lower unit until we saw someone outside entering. Notes to other guests with small children, bring your own baby gates, there are 2 staircases on the main level. Also, if you plan to cook, we weren't able to locate potholders so you may want to pack those as well. Overall we had a wonderful time and would recommend this property.
The house was modern and nicely decorated. Bedrooms and bathrooms were ample. Kitchen was comfortable and plenty of space for all to sit and eat. The house was in a quiet wooded area which gives it outdoors potential but that part is not developed. The house was centrally located in Fish Creek so it was close to all towns of Door County which made it convenient.
There was no landscaping or outdoor furniture so it was not really set up to enjoy outside. The biggest issue we had was that there was a guesthouse attached to the property and it was rented to other people. We were not aware that this was a shared property.
Overall a great experience. We just wish the owners were more transparent about sharing the property, especially since we had little kids with us.

More like an apartment complex than a private home
Besides numerous outlets that did not work throughout the house, we had no issues with the actual inside. It was clean when we arrived. The landscaping, which, according to the listing will be completed in 2024, is nonexistent. There was a bobcat onsite and tire tracks through the weeds surrounding the home, but it is completely unfinished on the outside. Our biggest issue is the fact the home is really three rentals in one, which nobody in our group recalls seeing in the listing when we booked. So, be aware that there are two other entryways that are rented as separate “homes.” While we didn’t have any issues with the other renters besides hearing our basement “roommate’s” tv and loud conversations, it was NOT what anyone in our group expected. We would not stay here again. For the price per night, a three-in-one home with no yard or outside space besides a wobbly deck felt like a ripoff.
Beautiful home but how did it pass code inspections????
When we walked in the home it was beautiful. However we started to notice things.
Pros:
1) The owner was very responsive. 2) There was ample space for everyone. 3) There was 2 living space that had large sofas on both floors. 4) Lots of things felt very new.
Cons:
1) The AC unit was not working the first night and the upper level was above 80 degrees. It turns out the AC and furnace would alternate every 20 minutes, after that was figured out the temperature of the house was more manageable. 2) The walls are paper thin. We could hear the side unit renters blasting their music throughout the whole house. 3) Master bedroom ceiling fan was not working so they had someone drop off a mini portable fan. 4) The stainless steal refrigerator ice machine did not work and they still couldn't figure it out. 5) Structure of the porches were questionable. 6) There was a connecting door that lead to the other unit, however, the door was a bedroom door that had a door lock knob and a sad little hook that anyone could breakdown. Also the door leading to the garage had no lock. Which felt unsafe because the furnace room is also connected to the other unit with the same lock system as the connecting door. To overcome the minimal connecting door lock system, we propped chairs against the door handles.
Overall, location was nice, the house was aesthetically beautiful, but how did the house pass building codes and the safety of my family is non-negatable when it comes to security.
