No Privacy

The house was nice and well equipped but there was no privacy. The pictures online are misleading. There was a house right next to the hot tub area and a walkway/street where cars and people passed by all the time on the other side which made the hot tub visible. We didn't feel like we had any privacy at all. Also, there are cameras around the entire property with one pointing at the hot tub which made us cringe. During our stay I received an email from the owner asking us to close the hot tub cover which makes it seem like they were watching everything, it was very frustrating. The beds are uncomfortable and you can hear everything in the house which made it hard to sleep. Our stay was ok but we would not come back.

Thank you for your honest feedback. We would not be able to improve our property and guest experience if not for your candor. Our hot tub is a wonderful amenity and we are genuinely sorry your group felt uncomfortable in any way. Our cameras are at each entrance to the home and are used for security purposes only. We can not stress this enough. As a business (half women owned) we would never encroach on a guest’s privacy. We have been informed, recently by our cleaning staff, that the hot tub has been slightly misused so we decided to send a gentle reminder. We plan to put additional information in the welcome book to support these efforts and prefer not to interrupt the guests with even a small message. Again, we are deeply sorry you felt uneasy in any way and take your feedback very seriously.
