This newly built Grand Bahama Vacation Rental Home located on the water with boat access is professionally decorated and has a simple charm for both the beach goers and the fishermen. If you are a sport fisher or like to play on the water, this is your tropical paradise. Pull your boat up to the dock or simply throw your bait in the water right out back at the landing. The house has been stylishly decorated, making it a warm and cozy place to read, relax or sunbathe on the back deck. The landing has a 15 foot deep canal that doubles as a gateway for some of the best fishing and diving the Caribbean has to offer. A short walk down the road leads to the beach or snorkel the canal looking for tropical fish and lobster. Yes Lobster! In the evening, you are only a few short miles from the night life at Port Lucaya where you can dance the night away, enjoy a delicious dinner; or simply sit on the veranda in the rear of the home and smoke a cigar, star gaze, listen to music or even make a little of your own.

Perfect property for boys fishing trip. Super clean, owner is very responsive and willing to help any way he can. Definitely going back…only negative was no pool otherwise I would definitely bring my wife.

Great Place

Was a great place to stay on our short term fishing trip. Great boat dock with permanent bumpers and excellent dockage area for filleting Fish, staging and just relaxing. Very good communication with Jason did everything he could to make our trip as success thanks again, Jason we will be back.

Awesome place and host!

Host was very accommodating. We had a weather delay and he was able to accommodate us. Home was beautiful and clean. Was able to keep the boat on the back dock during our stay.

Wonderful Home and Locaton

This was the second time staying at this wonderful home. Jason, the owner was quick to respond to any questions and very helpful with recommendations. I highly recommend this home for its great location and cleanliness. The dock area was my favorite with the diving board and great snorkeling!!

Great Summer!

We spent the summer at Haven del Mar. It was a fantastic location for us to bring our boat and fish. We loved evenings on the dock and exploring the island by land and sea. Will be back!

Great location!

This was our first time in the Bahamas and this was the perfect house for our first stay. We loved sitting by the water in the morning with our coffee or sitting by while the kids were swimming. The house is clean and comfortable. It was nearby many things. The highlight was playing pool everyday. We'd highly recommend!

Great getaway!

We loved this home--it it new and very modern inside and out! The owner has taken every step to make it comfortable and absolutely care free! The beds are very comfortable, with high quality bedding. The bathrooms are roomy and modern as well. It sits on an impressively large lot with a nice view of the canal--which is great for swimming as there was very little traffic! Grand Bahama is a wonderful place and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had such a great time staying here, Jason the owner was awesome with everything!

Definitely recommend staying at this house very private but not to far from anything, Jason was amazing we ran out of propane an it was there the next morning! House was kept very clean inside an out, we loved the diving board an the snorkeling right off the dock! The pool table was an extra bonus since we didn’t have a car we stayed an cooked an had drinks an relaxed there no need to go anywhere.

Bahama adventure

Cool central location great value for location. Rented a car and went every where Jason and Lisa are great hosts. I wouldnt plan on mooring a big boat the slip is narrow really made for 28' and under currents get pretty bad also we had friend with 30' fairly wide beam 10' couldnt keep at slip moved to marina no big deal

August Lucaya Fishing

Everyone liked the house and accommodations. The boat fit at the dock very well. The house is located just inside the cut so it is not a long ride to open water. The owner was responsive and quite helpful. We will definitely rent this place again. We caught a lot of fish, particularly for mid-August.

Beautiful home in an even more beautiful location

We truly enjoyed this well-maintained home and its dock in Freeport and near Lucaya, located on a beautiful canal cannot be any closer to the fishing grounds. The home features a nice dock which had plenty of room for our 34' center console. The kitchen was well stocked and we really enjoyed barbecuing and the main living area/pool table. Jason is an excellent host, attentive, very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions we had. We look forward to staying at Haven Del Mar again soon!

Comfortable & Relaxing

The house is in great shape, everything was very clean when we arrived (by private boat). The dock is in great shape, no issues there. Very relaxing to sit out there first thing in the morning or late at night. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen is well appointed with everything you would need. A/C works great, there are mini-splits in every room that are new. Took the bicycles for a ride down to Xanadu beach and we were literally the only people there. Jason provides an excellent and very detailed document that covers everything from how to get around, local attractions/stores and details about staying in the home. Overall an excellent experience, we will be back!

Perfect Place for a group of people or a couple of families!

Jason was great! Super attentive and quick to respond and give info! If you fish, dive or boat this place is perfect. Location is somewhat central. For perspective, a 15 minute, $25-$30 cab ride to Lucaya or Solomon's. The house was super clean. Everything worked well and enjoyed the pool table. The dock space is adequate we had a 39' center console and it fit fine. Although I would suggest just getting rid of the beams on the lift that are in the water. There is no salvaging them, may as well get rid of them to give more depth in the slip. Just a suggestion. We will be back! I recommend staying here; great place.

Excellent vacationing or weekend get away

The property was maintained so well I thought it was a personal resident. The amenities were all there especially the kitchen. The decorations were professionally done I'm sure with excellent taste. (I love to decorate) We were very happy with this clean and well presented environment for ourselves and children. The water and boat lift are at the end of the huge yard. You can even snorkel or swim in the crystal blue water right in your own backyard. Amazing....... Catch your fish or lobster and BBQ for dinner that night. Loved every moment of it and it's so close to stores and town. Of all the homes we saw to vacation for a week I highly suggest this establishment above all others. Have fun and make sure to reserve again and again...... only not when I want it!! ;)

Wonderful 3 bedroom house on the canal...

We had the most wonderful 2 week stay. My wife, 2 kids, dog, and myself enjoyed the house, pool table, Netflix, dock, fishing, kayaks, etc... The master bedroom was comfortable with updated bathroom and rain shower and french doors opening to the back patio and canal. The kiddos loved the twin beds in the kids room. The third bedroom which we didn't use was also well maintained and perfect for older kids or a second couple even. Both the property manager and house owner were available during the stay to answer questions and remedy any issues that came up. We also enjoyed how close the house is to the International Bazaar, Port Lucaya, and multiple beaches. We spent a lot of time on the beaches (near and far). Almost every day we would go fishing from the dock and swimming in the canal. Beautiful sea life was evident in the canal with lots of species of fish and large sea urchins. Lots to do in Freeport and this is the perfect place to start your trip every day and to end it every night.

We had a great stay here! We went fishing out back on the dock everyday and caught a ton of fish. The home is comfy and nicely decorated. Host is welcoming and reply’s quick with any questions. Can’t wait to come back!
