A 10x12ft luxurious canvas tent on 3 acres with a view to the Hogback Ridge is within 1 mi of the world-renowned Red Rocks Amphitheater. The tent offers a queen size bed, a deck with outdoor seating, a BBQ and most important a heated mattress pad. Discover the perfect blend of comfort and nature by booking your visit with us today!
"Red Rocks Paradise" is unique and like nothing else to be found in the area. As soon as you park your car a beautiful lit up pathway with solar torches will lead you to the glamping site. The campsite is set back at the very end of a 3 acre property next to a little creek bordering open space.
This is one of two unique glamping units set up on private creekside property. Your glamping site “Hug a Bear” is romantically lit at night time and artistically decorated. The tent is waterproof and protected by a carport, that offers a covered porch. The artwork (by Sabin, your host) covering the tent was exhibited at the McNichols Civic Center Building Downtown Denver a few years ago. Now it is enveloping your restful night under the starry sky of Colorado. The space offers you a coffee maker, a water kettle, water dispenser, BBQ and electricity. You will enjoy the delightful back side view of the famous Hogback mountain.
Just a few steps away from your tent site and next to the parking area you will find a clean portable toilet and we offer a simple outdoor shower with hot water.
We do our best to provide many of the comforts of a home for your "glamping" experience but make sure you are prepared to stay in the great outdoors which includes bugs and it is still camping. If you dont like bugs or occasional spiders, this might not be for you. We cannot control the changes that both weather and the surrounding environment may cause. Although we provided an extra blanket and the tent has mosquito nets, we encourage bringing bug spray, warm clothes, flash lights, extra drinking water and other items you might need to make your stay pleasant. Please be aware of the weather and plan to dress accordingly. In cooler weather we will provide a heater.
We Sabin & Randy are artisans and live and work on site. We are happy to help and assist with any questions that you might have. Our intention is to make your experience comfortable, relaxing and memorable.
Security Notice: For the safety and security of all guests, we have installed a security camera in the parking area. This camera monitors the parking area only and does not record any private guest spaces or accommodations. The camera is clearly visible and helps ensure vehicle security on the property.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The glamping experience was on point! Complete with a visit from cows one evening while we were enjoying the porch. Very beautiful and quiet. Would stay there again!
We had a wonderful overnight stay! We went to Red Rocks and this was so close. I had the best night’s sleep! We will definitely be back.

We arrived after dark, the host greeted us, she was lovely and helpful . The glamping set up is more snug than the wide angle pics represent , still tidy , clean and great location to see a concert at Red Rock.(we walked to and from 1.7 miles )
Loved our stay at red rocks! So comfortable, cozzy and clean! The heated mattress topper was perfection! Perfect location for after a concert!

So cute and perfect. The people who run this glamping site live on the property. They held onto our luggage for the whole day so we could hike in surrounding areas. Truly a special time.
Cozy and clean in tent area. Property grounds in front of camping area could be nicer which was unexpected. Many run down garages and storage sheds. Overall I was pleased with the accommodation.

Thank you for your review! We're delighted that the camping experience itself met your expectations.
We appreciate your honest feedback about the property grounds. We purchased this property just a few years ago when it was in significant disrepair, and we've been steadily working to restore and improve it. The renovation is an ongoing labor of love that includes remodeling two houses on the property, along with extensive cleanup and landscape work.
As working artists, some of the structures you observed house materials for both our art projects and ongoing renovation efforts. We understand this may not present the most polished appearance, but each building serves a purpose in our restoration journey and creative work.
We're committed to continuing improvements while balancing the practical needs of our artistic endeavors and property restoration. Thank you for your patience as we transform this space, and we're glad you enjoyed your stay despite the work-in-progress nature of some areas.
I love glamping in general. This tent was great. Full of cute details and everything you might need or want. My only knock would be the porta potty for a toilet. Those aren’t my favorite.
The glamping tent was a expected, decorated great with good ammenities. Unexpected incredible birding. Was a bit surprised with the portable toilet in the bath house, close proximity to other glamping tent & campers, and sharing the bath house with up to 6 people since this was not in the listing. The hosts were great! I would stay here again - especially for a concert.
My boyfriend and I booked this glamping tent for a night after our show at red rocks. Stopped in Morrison for some lunch then the check in process was easy to follow. Site looked exactly as pictured and common bathroom area was very clean. Easy to uber to/from red rocks for the show, then quick drive in the morning to do some hiking. 10/10 recommend if going to a show at red rocks and like to hike.
Lovely property and lovely people running it. Easy to get a quick ride to the amphitheatre. I walked back to the property after a show one night and took just about an hour. Hot shower, potable water, mini fridge, covered deck area to stay out of rain. Will definitely be back in the future. Thanks!
Such a Beautiful, fun, comfortable place! I can’t say enough about this GEM from how clean it was to the very comfortable bed that came with a heated blanket huge bonus! Sitting out on the porch at night with the awesome lights lite being right in nature was spectacular! The hosts Randy and Sabine were so wonderful, gracious and very helpful! We can’t wait to go back 1 day was definitely not long enough.

The pictures do not represent the lot full of box trucks, steel containers...it shows a field of cows in fact. I was disappointed for sure. Oh and there should be mention of the 4 am rooster alarm. And we should be able to close the windows on the tent. Cold wind whipped though all night and the owners were out of town. It was freezing and raining and shutting the windows would have made a difference for sure.

Dear Holly,
Thank you for your feedback. We'd like to clarify a few points about your stay.
As clearly stated in our property description, this is a recently purchased property that is a work in progress, and not all areas are yet as we would like them. The cows you mentioned in the photos are indeed visible when they're out in the pasture specially from the glamping then that you booked. The box truck you referenced belong to our neighbors, not our property.
Regarding the tent amenities, the windows can be closed by simply going outside the tent and rolling them down. We also provided a contact phone number for any questions or assistance during your stay, and there was a heated mattress pad on the bed that could have been turned on for warmth.
The early morning rooster sounds come from our neighbors' property, as we are located in a partially rural area where farm animals are common.
We encourage guests to reach out to us directly during their stay if they need assistance with any amenities or have questions about the property.
Sincerely, Sabin & Randy
Sabine and Randy were some of the most gracious hosts! The tents were nestled in the back of their property as described. Our tent looked exactly as pictured! Very neat, but also beautifully decorated/designed. The tent's had electricity and were nicely protected from the elements, but still felt surrounded by nature. The hosts were easily accessible and made sure we were comfortable, even if it was a hot summer weekend. They are still in the process of renovating a few things (bathroom, driveway), but this place was more than enough for the full "glamping" experience. It helped so much that Red Rocks Ampitheatre was less than a mile away :)
