Quiet spot on SML

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay … wanted a quiet spot on SML, and this was perfect. Brought our kayaks and paddled every morning and swam from the dock. Enjoyed the shaded gazebo when the sun got too much for the porch. Realized a little late in the game that there are rotating food trucks a few miles down the road. Would definitely come back.

Fantastic week at the lake!

Our extended family of 8 really enjoyed our stay. The location was great and the house was as advertised. This was our third trip to SML but the first time at this particular house and we would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful property for Family vacation

We had a wonderful time at Smith Mountain Lake, and the property enhanced our visit! We created lots of great memories. The dock, the fire pit, the hot tub, the gazebo, the functional kitchen with everything we needed for family fun.

Comfy, cozy and beautiful lake

Very nice home, comfy furniture, great deck and gazebo. Full kitchen (bring your own paper goods and condiments). Actually 2 more bedrooms than advertised but cal only rent to 4 guests. Located very far from main town, which is peaceful and private but long drive to restaurants and shopping. Was able.to go for long walks. Dock is great, but no power. Loads of wildlife.

Lake getaway

Perfect place to hang out with friends or family and stay waterfront right on the lake. The beds were very comfortable, the house was very clean and the host answered all questions very promptly. Would recommend 10 out of 10 times.

Beautifully decorated home located in a quiet community. Wonderful attention to detail. Our family stayed there while celebrating our Liberty students graduation. We enjoyed the home, the hot tub, the lake, and even the heard of deer that ran through the yard daily.

We had a great time with our family-thank you! Your home is so lovely, too! The hot tub, dock, fire pit and cornhole boards kept things relaxing and entertaining. Such a lovely home and property.

We(6adults & 2kids) rented 7/27-30/23. Home was adorable & clean. Everyone loved their rooms. The bedrm off the living rm had a barn door that didn’t cover the whole opening when closed. The living rm had comfy couches. My youngest enjoyed the toys. The master bedrm & bathrm were spacious w/lots of storage. The kitchen was spacious w/ample storage & well stocked w/utensils. We loved the outdoor space. The deck had ample seating options. The views of the lake were wonderful. The hot tub had it’s own area with extra seating. We enjoyed the covered pier. The cove water was warm, clear & perfect for the kayaks & paddle board we brought. We also fished from the pier. We rented a pontoon boat & had no problem bringing it to the dock. During our stay, any time I had a question, the host answered promptly. A few heads up, but not complaints. Arriving the first time, I missed the driveway. There is a small white sign w/217 low to the ground I missed & the driveway is covered over with grass. There is no Wi-Fi. It is not listed as an amenity. It presented a few minor inconveniences & despite some effort we couldn’t use the TVs. You need to take the trash to the dump. We checked out on Sunday & the dump does not open until 10am, which is also check out time. Even though we had a truck, fitting the trash & our stuff in the back wasn’t an option. Any other day this timing would not be an issue. We completely enjoyed the home & property & would absolutely return.
