Our house, built in 1736, is ideally located in the heart of historic Cambridge. Facing the Choptank River, it is 1/2 block from the marina & lighthouse. Restaurants and shops abound within a few blocks. The house is large and spacious with an open living room and dining area, smaller more intimate spaces are located in the back, including a den, kitchen and small 1/2 bath. On the 3rd floor, a full 2nd kitchen, full bath, sitting room & bedroom await you.
Come and see what a treasure this is! The space The back portion of the property was built in the mid 1700s, the front part of the house was added later in the early 1800s. All in all a home that is one of a kind. The front rooms boast 15 foot ceilings on both the 1st and 2nd floors, the back rooms include a den and kitchen are cozier but all have great character. The kitchen, porch and back bedrooms have views of the Choptank river, fishing boats can be seen motoring by. Fireplaces are in every room but unfortunately are not operable. The 3rd floor is an apartment of its own with full kitchen, full bath, sitting area & bedroom. There is unique artwork throughout. The home has been lovingly furnished with our personal items and hope you will find it a calming and pleasant place to stay.

The house is so tastefully decorated and so grand that it would be perfect for so many occasions -- a bridal shower, a small company retreat, an engagement party, a getaway for a bride and her bridesmaids, a yoga retreat, a family get-away, a friends' get-away. It is a very elegant, historic home with magnificent artwork throughout. Guest access Guests have access to the entire 3 floors of the house and large yard. Other things to note Our home is unique not only because of its historic features but there is lovely artwork throughout. There is off street parking for 4 cars on the side and on street parking for additional guests. Park your car and explore on foot -- everything is close!
