Awesome Location for Boys Trip

We had our annual golf trip planned for Palm Springs this year to play the PGA West courses. Usually finding a home that has a solid balance of rooms and bathrooms can be a challenge, however this home was perfect. We all had a great time and John was a very attentive host.

This was the perfect spot for our boys trip. Huge entertaining areas with tons of activities for those competitive back yard lawn games. Great spaces for cooking big meals. John was always responsive and attentive as a host.

This place was outstanding accommodations for our golf group this year. We usually travel as a group of 12 but John's place presented very well in the photos, so we added a few extras to make it work for us. Now the new guys want to continue to join us. That might tell you how well this place was. What was presented was all there. The pool, the fountain, the spa, all the outdoor space firepit and fireplace all added to the enjoyment of the stay. The proximity to the golf courses we played was top notch. John was responsive to concerns.We would definitely book this place again.

Desert relaxation

The chateau was a perfect place for my teams management conclave. All members were able to have their own room with bathrooms. All the amenities were as advertised. Amazing New Years Vacation!

Our stay was amazing thanks to John the owner! House was super clean, the property was huge ! Bigger than what we were expecting in pictures, the outdoor fireplace was where we had all the fun. So many games for everyone to play indoors and outdoors and a huge living room with many seating areas! I loved that each guest had their own room with their own bathrooms and how John accommodated with the bedroom set ups! We will definitely be coming back for our next events and holidays ! Thank you John!!!

This house was more than spacious enough to accommodate our large group. There are many beds and lots of appliances. We had beautiful weather and spent most of our time outside. A Perfect Weekend

This property was perfect for what we needed. I had a very large group of guys for a golf weekend away. It was able to accommodate everyone with their own bed, plenty of couches for everyone to hang out in the living room and tons of room in the backyard for activities (I've never played that much volleyball before). The TV was easy to connect to and worked great for watching football on Sunday. The location was close to multiple golf courses. Everyone who stayed had nothing but great things to say.

Perfect house for golf group getaway

We had a large group of guys coming from around the country to play some golf courses and we need a large house with comfortable quarters to handle a group like ours. This place was perfect for what we needed! All of us had a blast and the host was very accommodating to make it a special event. Everything worked as advertised, and we hope to come back and do it again year after year! Do yourself a favor and reserve this special place…I am not aware of any place in the country that can host a large group in such a perfect fashion. Thank you John for making our weekend the most incredible one ever!

Private retreat

The owner was easy to reach and work with. We had 21 grown men for a golfing trip and this place had plenty of space for all but a few to have their own room. It was very comfortable with multiple small group areas as well as a main dining area that looks like it could handles a small wedding. Beds were great. Plenty of basic supplies 10 minutes from stores and restaurants. Temps went from 90 in the afternoon to 65 in the evenings so the fire places allowed us to extend our evenings in comfort. I highly recommend it.

Our team of 10 executives stayed at Chateau Florencia for a corporate retreat and were very pleased with the home and the service provided by John and his staff. They went out of their way to accommodate our arrival and departure times, they responded quickly to all our requests for assistance - they even did our grocery shopping for us!! We had a couple hiccups: the BBQs needed a little extra TLC, but we handled that easily enough; and the newly-installed smoke detectors challenged our peaceful night's rest, but again, John quickly responded and the issue was addressed right away. John was a delight to work with! I wholeheartedly recommend him and his chateau for anyone looking to relax in desert luxury!

This place is perfect for a large group. The owner takes pride in keeping it immaclate and is very attentive to every request. The rooms were comfortable, well air conditioned and nicely laid out for a large group. Do note an extra charge for every room used over 7 rooms.The kitchen is large and well stocked with every cooking need. We appreciated the convenient and ample refrigerator and freezer space. The high producing ice machine works great and definitely kept up with our needs.The couches on wheels were a nice touch so that we could congregrate in any way we wanted and change the layout as needed. Note there is just 1 large great room and not really a separate area with in the house to congregrate in case you wanted a separte room for kids to be in. You can use 1 of the enterway bedrooms for that.The game tables were in great condition and fun for group activities.The pool was a perfect temperature, clean and well maintained. There is ample seating areas around the pool which are shaded and unshaded.

Booking and checking in was easy and John was great when we changed our number of guests at short notice The villa was more than big enough for everyone, with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, a huge well equipped kitchen and laundry room. Everything we needed. The garden and pool were bigger than we expected, with volleyball and water fountains in the pool, lots of loungers to soak up the sun and shaded areas outside to eat. The pool is perfect for children . Everything was clean and well decorated, it looked new and not like other rentals we have used in the past. It was a good location, quiet during the day, but close to golf, shopping and restaurants. It was a very good vacation and i would stay here again, possible with more friends and family, there was so much room. I would highly recommend a stay here and we might be coming to stay again soon

The BEST private estate in the greater Palm Springs

My family has been coming here since 2012, and we will definitely return next year. The owners are always available to answer any questions, and we felt at home while staying here. They completely remodeled and refurbished everything this spring, and we really enjoyed the new modern style. All appliances worked perfectly, and the new three dolphins fountain is simply spectacular. We highly recommend Chateau Florencia for large groups, because the Grand Room easily accommodates 70 people without anyone feeling crowded. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the attention to details makes this estate stand out above any other high-end properties we visited. We made reservations for the next three years since this is the best property we ever stayed in..

We had a great time at the Chateau Florencia

The home was perfect for our stay. We had everything we needed to have diverse activities for our large family group. The pool was lovely and we were able to heat it to our satisfaction. The kitchen was well equipped and it was great to have plenty of seating for everyone. John and his wife were most helpful and always available by phone to answer any questions we had.

AWESOME RESORT - THE BEST EVER!

I have a large family that is used to 5 Diamond resorts and we were at awe! Chateau Florencia is simply AMAZING! Amenities are out of this world, the Grand Room easily accommodates 60 people and the Gourmet Kitchen has everything a Chef would want. We used all 4 refrigerators and 3 microwaves and nobody had to wait for food or drinks. Everyone had their choice of morning coffee, 4 Keurig brewers and a 50 cup percolator did the job superbly. There is even a 5 gallon bottled water hot and cold dispenser, and the Grand kitchen has an additional water filter so you never run out of fresh tasting water. The outdoor triple fireplace is magnificent and everyone enjoyed the nightly fire show. All tables, billiards, ping pong, foosball and air hockey are on casters so we were able to arrange everything as we liked. Their attention to details is almost unbelievable: perfectly clean everywhere, all lined was had steam ironed so it felt super soft, the European goose down pillows were fluffy and soothing, and there are plenty of throw pillows to support your back when sitting on a bed relaxing, John was very helpful, answered out texts with questions immediately, and we felt totally at home. We are coming back and we strongly recommend Chateau Florencia to anyone that wants the best there is. Thank you for creating a second home for our family and friends John! Jeff & family

Golf Trip Paradise!!!

We've been renting from John for years. First time @ Chateau Florencia. Excellent facility and plenty of room. 16 Golfers with their own bedrooms. Great kitchen for cooking and gathering for a few laughs and adult beverages. Currently planning our trip for 2018 and will definitely be staying @ Chateau Florencia. Thanks again John.

Perfect setting for a boys golf trip

There isn't a more perfect setting for 12 guys on a golf trip. The place is huge and has every toy imagineable. The beds and linens are very comfortable. This is so much better than renting multiple condos or hotel rooms. We had planned to go out to eat every night but decided to stay in and bbq or cook since this turned out to be so much easier than going out. We will almost certainly book this again for next year.
