Lovely and comfy get away!

We enjoyed this house fully for our Thanksgiving stay! We even took the canoes out for a spin. Nice walks around the development and the beach area is lovely.

Wonderful getaway!

I cannot say enough good things about this property from all the wonderful surprises (stocked coffee bar, complimentary toiletries, plenty of towels for a family of 5) to it being even more spacious than the pictures made it seem! Overall, this was the perfect getaway as we spent a couple days enjoying the backyard and water and then spent a couple days sight seeing making the about 2 hour drive into DC and the short 20 minute drive to Washington's birthplace right in Montross. We also enjoyed the town itelf with a nice selection of restaurants and 2 coffee shops. I highly recommend this property and wonderful owners!

Relaxing Waterfront Escape

We had such a wonderful time at this property! The location is beautiful and incredibly peaceful, with the waterfront just steps from the door. The home was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped and we loved cooking on the Blackstone. Access to private beaches and pool in the community was perfect. Connie was an amazing host and very friendly, responsive, and made sure our stay was perfect. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature, this is the place. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to return!
