Such a comfortable and well stocked home in a quiet setting. We enjoyed the relaxing hot tub, the updated interior including comfortable mattresses, updated kitchen and bathrooms. It was very clean and nice. We would definitely recommend this rental!
The property was certainly worth the cost. We had a good time staying for a month. It was a good space for our mature doodle dog. We used the kitchen daily with good results. The dining table with 6 chairs is bigger than comparable places. The living room was comfortable. The laundry was very good. It was a functional family home more than a mountain retreat. The host was very responsive. The area is mostly rural and lushly green in mid summer. There are many beautiful trails and interesting downtowns to explore. We did not spend much time on the property’s outside amenities, a table and 4 cushioned chairs with umbrella, a gas grill, a hot tub, and a fire pit with a limited mountain view because it was either too hot or raining.
This was the second time we have stayed at this property. It is very clean, host is very responsive and it is close to Asheville downtown. We definitely recommend this property.
What a beautiful and CLEAN home! Michelle was so welcoming in her messages and thorough in details that we really didn’t need anything. It made our stay so enjoyable! Thank you!
Highly recommend! Our family of 5 stayed here for spring break. The kiddos had a blast eating s’mores and playing games by the fire pit. I found the house very clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.
We had a lovely stay! Great place, super clean that was able to accommodate us and our pups. Great location, easy to get to DT Asheville and other nearby areas.
The house was beautifully decorated. Very clean and well maintained. The hot tub didn’t get hot enough but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall experience was excellent.
Wonderful location - close to everything, gorgeous views of the mountains. Super clean, super responsive, wonderful hot tub, loved bringing our pups. Plan to stay again!
Wonderful house, very clean, good layout and amenities. Perfect location for us as well could get into Asheville within 15 mins but also to many trails far out of town in less than an hour. Communication with owners was great as well. Highly recommend!
Great house 15 minutes outside of Asheville. Very clean and had everything we needed for a hiking weekend with our family. Loved the hot tub and secluded feel of the house.
This home was perfect for our family of 5 and small dog. The house was cozy and spacious. It was very clean and well decorated. The kitchen included all the essentials. You are less than 15 minutes from all of Asheville has to offer and just short commutes to great hiking trails.

Our stay at this VRBO property was exceptional and memorable. The home is ideally situated—just minutes from the Biltmore Estate, vibrant downtown Asheville, and the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains making it the perfect base for exploring all that the area has to offer. The house itself is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully equipped, providing all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay. We were especially delighted to find a Christmas tree set up upon our arrival, which created a warm, festive atmosphere and allowed our family to celebrate Christmas together in style. Every detail, from the cozy living spaces to the well-stocked kitchen reflected a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. The host was highly responsive and made the check-in process seamless. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and the welcoming touches throughout our visit. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and gathering around the firepit under the stars. For anyone seeking a perfect home base to experience Asheville and the surrounding area, I highly recommend this property. It’s an ideal choice for families or groups looking to create lasting memories.
We had a small fire at our home and had to be displaced for several months and this house was a perfect stay for us! Very clean and a great set up. Close to our place, and close to restaurants on 74.
Would recommend this place to anyone. Great communication with owners.
Had a great time at this rental. Clean, well decorated and great communication with the host. Hot tub was great! I did use 4 wheel drive to get up the driveway as it’s gravel and pretty steep, with momentum you can make it up in 2 wheel drive but I didn’t want to erode the drive way more then I needed to. I liked it, felt of added to the Mtn feel.
Our stay was great!! very friendly and accommodating host, I will say I would HIGHLY recommend 4wd for the driveway. "taking it fast" is not good advice. I drive a 4wd 4runner and drive offroad frequently, would not advise taking driveway in ANY 2wd car, tried in a Jeep and fishtailed the entire way up, we used 4wd the entire weekend for driveway. Other than that the stay was great! Very secluded location and never had any issues with neighbors or "local roaming dogs." Left some extra firewood for our next guest!! 10/10 would recommend for someone looking to "unplug" for a weekend.

Thanks for the review Connor! We had the driveway paved and a retaining wall added so 4WD or AWD is no longer needed.
We were happy to find a place that was conveniently located in the Asheville area. The hosts were very responsive and made us feel welcome. The home itself has a great layout and is pleasantly decorated, and we appreciated having separate bedrooms for our two teenagers. The home was outfitted with whatever we needed--washer, dryer, kitchen things, big sink to clean out our cooler, etc. We enjoyed the mountain air on the deck, roasted hot dogs and marshmellows around the fire pit, and relaxed in the hot tub. The only challenge we had was with the driveway, which we managed in our AWD vehicle, but it took some gumption to ascend and some care to descend. I'd be nervous about trying it after a big rain. We DID make it up and down, though, so if you are thinking about making a reservation here, I wouldn't let that be a dealbreaker. This is a great place, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Thank you Eric for your thoughtful review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and you are welcome back anytime.
My husband and I and our dog stayed in Franco and Michele's rental in Asheville October 2-6, 2023 and it was a fantastic experience. It was easy to communicate with them prior to arriving and they responded quickly to any questions. If we could give a 10 star review of this property, we would! From start to finish, everything about this rental exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail made our experience wonderful. Upon entering the house (super easy to get in), we were blown away by its cleanliness and nice decor. It was evident that the hosts put a great deal of effort into building, organizing, and maintaining this place. It felt as though we were the first guests to ever set foot in the house. The hot tub (fabulous and clean!), the BEAUTIFUL master bath and shower, the organized and clean kitchen, the fast wi-fi, brand new WASHER and DRYER, the grill, to the towels and toiletries available, we felt like every detail had been carefully considered. They go above and beyond and have truly set this VRBO apart from other rentals.
We loved the location. The house is very private and at the same time it is in a VERY nice, woodsy neighborhood with beautiful homes. Within 10 or 15 minutes we could arrive anywhere we needed to in Asheville,GREAT restaurants nearby,10 minutes to an entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway, etc.
Thank you Franco and Michele for a beautiful experience! It is the nicest vacation rental we have ever stayed in.
