Looking for an very nice home to house a large group of people but you'd like to save a few dollars in the deal? This wonderful duplex has 6 bedrooms and 7 baths on each side, so 12 bedrooms when renting through this listing for BOTH sides together.

Want more? How about great internet on a wifi mesh network? An EXTRA fridge for all those shrimp and beach beverages? Easy beach access and a great price point. What's not to love?

This listing is for BOTH SIDES, with 12 bedrooms. One side perfect for your group? Inquire about our Casa Playa, East and Casa Playa, West listings for the individual units. Note, there IS a connecting door between the two sides in the living room areas. Like a connecting hotel room, it can be opened if guests rent both sides.

ALL bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with combo shower/tubs. The 2nd Floor LR and Bonus QSS use a common bath separate from that level's bedroom.

BEACH ACCESS
Casa Playa is located on the north side of West Beach Boulevard, directly across the street from the beach and you can see the beach! You have beach access at the 12th (3 mins, < .1 mile!) and 13th street public beaches, PLUS a large pool private to just the guests of Casa Playa. We aren't talking about blocks to reach the beach, it's right across the street, .1 miles to the west!

POOL? You bet!
BIG outdoor pool (shared only between the two sides). 30x18x3-5' rectangular bit of bliss!

PARKING
There is available onsite parking for at least 6 cars per side. More if you park under then home and stack carefully. Just share nice with the neighbors!

WIFI/INTERNET
YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally solid and ran > 100Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction!

SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, ETC ETC
As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well.

No smoking please. No pets.

Fantastic Property at a great location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property, It was super spacious and afforded us room for everyone in our party. The home matched the pictures and descriptions to a T! I would definitely recommend this property for any large families or groups. It is super close to the beach access point as well as its far enough down Beach Blvd that the traffic is minimal.

Casa Playa Reunion

Casa Playa East & West was just what the Price family required for 2025!!!!The proximity to the beautiful beaches was perfect and the spacious pool was great for afternoon cool off.Each of our five children hosted a dinner night and the twin kitchens/ great rooms provided the necessary gathering accommodations for the family.Some of the younger set went to nearby bars by uber, and daytime activities included rental boats and fishing trips. Even visited the Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola.Great family spot!!!

Had my brother's bachelor party there, it was in a great spot with close beach access. The pool was nice and plenty of room to house the 18 adults that stayed. Parking was also not an issue and was able to accommodate all of us. Beds and furniture were comfortable. Thanks again for the house for the weekend!

Great big place. We had a great trip!

We stayed in both sides of Casa Playa (the east and the west). It was so big. 12 bedrooms and we were all able to spread out. Having 2 kitchens and living rooms, and the connecting door, was very nice. It was also nice that you could go from side to side on the main level deck. We have plenty of room for all of us, but could get away from each other too! :-) We hhope to return in the future when we all get together again, and I will look at you all for a smaller place when we come back with less of my family. Highly recommend Casa Playa and Bama Beach Houses!

Great place for our family trip!

This place was a great place for our family trip. Reserving both condos worked out perfect for 30 people. Richard was very helpful with everything. We spent a lot of time in the private pool which was awesome. The beach is like a 5 minute walk. Make sure to bring beach items such as beach towels, coolers, tents and chairs.

Great Collegiate Soccer Trip!

Our team very much enjoyed spending the week at your beautiful home in Gulf Shores. They loved having their own pool, and the large living rooms were great for team meetings. Having 4 refrigerators was key in stocking up plenty of gatorade and protein drinks! The massive size of the house and all of the bedrooms with baths allowed our players nice spaces to rest while not feeling cramped whatsoever. We absolutely loved the trip!

We rented both sides of Casa Playa for a friends weekend over New Years and it was the perfect space for us! The house accommodates a ton of overnight guests, but somehow still allows for guest privacy. The kitchens were well-stocked with pots, pans, utensils, dishes, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciate Richard's proactive communications and professionalism! The home was spacious and clean. We had a large group and everyone was comfortable. Each room has it's own full bath, with 2 full baths in the common areas! There were 4 refrigerators and 2 kitchens with all the necessary utensils and appliances. The owner uses a managing company but still checked in on us to make sure things were good. Will definitely be going back to CasaPlaya!

Richard's house was exactly like the pictures and was a lot of fun to stay at. We were a big group with a lot of kids and we had rented both the sections of the house and it worked great for us. The place was clean when we got there and we had plenty of advance details sent to us, so we knew what we needed and what to expect. Richard was always responsive and even when we needed maintenance for a very small issue, they came out the next business day. Appreciated everything and would recommend staying here!

Perfect for us!

Your home was beautiful and was so nice for my big family. We had room to spread out and enjoy the patio and pool area. I did let the management company know about the microwave on the east side. Never worked well. We didn't want to make anything worse so those that needed to warm something up just came over and used the west side. It wasn't a big deal for us since we didn't use the microwave much anyway. I just wanted them to know for the next guest. Other than that, the home was perfect for our needs and close to the beach. Thanks much for letting us stay at your place for the week. Many special memories made!

We rented both sides for a family vacation with many aunts, uncles and dozens of cousins! The home worked out so well for our family! The fact that each room has its own bath is the best thing EVER and a rare find! The home had so much space, each side with 2 living areas to hang in AND each had a sofa bed! We would wake up and find the teens hung out too late and fell asleep together in the sofa beds!The pool area is super spacious as is the covered area right next to the pool. We played many games there, out of the direct sun and rain at times. Spent most of our time here or in the front patio/balgony, looking at the dolphins in the ocean right across the street! The home was clean and had everything our large family needed. Everyone loved this home!We loved the area - ice cream. A small grocery and a kitchen/bar just a block away. If we visit Gulf Shores again, will definitely book again!

We had an awesome time. My aunt actually book the house last year the the week of Christmas. We had such an amazing time we wanted to book it again. Everything was just like we remembered with a few upgrades( Keurig Coffee maker and Alexia). The weather was perfect and we will book again in the future. The local management company was awesome. After we checked out, one of the kids realized they left their watch charging in the bedroom. The gave us a temporary code to enter the home and get it.
