In the great room, a gas log fireplace sits beneath a large flat screen Satellite TV. Enjoy the fire or sharpen your billiards skills while watching the latest news or sporting event. The Cabin has central heat and private A/C units in each room for custom comfort settings. It will sleep up to 4. . The large deck extends around 3 sides of the cabin, has picnic tables and a brand New hot tub (2022) & park style charcoal grill outside on the enormous deck is quite scenic as sits over the Middle Fork of the Red River. (Basically, river is a shallow creek in this region). For larger groups this cabin is conveniently located near Bear Cub and the small Black Bear Lodge motel.
A well trained pet is welcome with a pet fee. VRBO doesn't add the pet fee, so an additional $55 will be added to the total for reservations with pets.

Excellent place! I do wish we knew how close the lodge was to the cabin though, we were expecting a little more privacy. The place was clean and stocked with absolute essentials. The window AC units kept us cool in the 100 degree heat index. Would definitely stay again, maybe in cooler months so we could actually enjoy the hot tub!

We're happy to know that you enjoyed your stay and hope to welcome you back for a future stay! Thank you for your wonderful feedback it is much appreciated!
All in all it’s a nice cabin placed in a very convenient location in the gorge. Close to food and activities while still feeling at home enough to not be bothered by others.
Had a great time. Hot tub was so relaxing after long day of hiking and exploring. Beds were super comfortable. Location was very central to all activities we wanted to do.
We got moved because of a water heater snafu, but really enjoyed the Shiloh cabin! Clean, well-maintained, and had all we needed! Communication with the host was really smooth and just enough. We’ll be booking with this host/company again.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for the feedback.
My grown son and I enjoyed the location next to the river where we saw a beaver at work both mornings we were there. The beds were very comfortable. The coffee shop so close was great as well as ease to get to other restaurants and the trails. We will likely stay here again. Thank you!

Greg-- We are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay with us... And to see a beaver at work is fantastic and a rare sight. Come back and stay with us any time.
The river view was not as nice as expected and the black bear lodge is within 50’ left of the grizzle cabin porch which takes away from the seclusion and privacy
Over all the stay was perfect! Hot tub was clean and great, no WiFi but we lived. Pool table is not in the ideal location ( to close to the window) but still had a blast 10 out of 10 would stay again.

Thank you for the feedback! We do have routine pest control coming to the cabin, but will make sure they look into where they may be getting into the cabin at. Other than that we are happy you enjoyed your time there.
3 guys stayed here and had a great time at this house. Between the hot tub and the pool table, we were very happy with choosing this location. Having a TV with cable was a nice touch as well! Proximity was great, we were able to walk across the street for dinner and a local bar and also close to Miguels. The house is a little out of date, had a DVD/VHS combo, and could use another bed upstairs, although both that they did have were very comfortable. We will definitely look to stay here again in the future!

The first night my wife found a spider in the bed room, she hates spiders. The first morning I found two small mice in the kitchen sink.
