The house is in a beautiful location, with a desert wash behind the property, meaning lots of privacy and access to nature viewing from the deck and yard. It's close to amenities but with a remote feel. In the wash behind the house, we saw lizards, rabbits, quail, owls, hawks, hummingbirds, a road runner, and loads of other splendid birds! The property manager was easily reached and very responsive. We had to reach out a few times, as the house was not set up with enough paper products or linens for our 3-week stay. They always came through quickly, and our needs were met. They could benefit from the addition of a property manual, with instructions on such things as working the heat and A/C, and how to manage garbage and recycling. The property itself was roomy, the outside areas a bonus, and the kitchen was great. For its price point, many areas of the property are dated and showing their age, and in need of maintenance or replacement. The most evident are damaged and missing window screens, dirty shag carpet on the stairs, an interlocking brick walkway in the yard that has an area of collapse, and an old, poorly working built-in barbeque. Overall, the access to nature and the responsiveness of the property managers outshone the flaws, and we enjoyed our stay.
