About this property

Work From Home in this Beachfront Penthouse Paradise

This slice of heaven is located on Puerto Rico's north coast where you will find yourself greeted by stunning beach and pool views to the front and majestic mountain views to the back. You can enjoy watching people surf from one of two balconies or bird watch and enjoy the stunning views of the Cano Tiburones Natural Reserve from the oversized rooftop. If catching a wave is your thing, grab a boogie board and head across the street to Caza y Pesca Beach. It is a local favorite. The Arecibo Lighthouse, as well as the beautiful Poza del Obispo Beach, is a five-minute drive from the apartment or a beautiful sunset evening walk along the beach outside our doors. Local natural wonders such as the Cueva Ventana, Camuy Caverns, Cueva del Indio, and the Tanama River are just a short drive away.

You can find endless options for dining near the apartment, as well as shopping and entertainment. The Barceloneta Outlets are a short drive away, while for those looking for a bit more luxury, Plaza las Americas and The Mall of San Juan are approximately one hour away). Food trucks park right outside the complex from Thursday through Sunday and local cafes, sandwich shops, and convenience stores are 5 minutes away. The local supermarket is 10 minutes away and Walmart and Starbucks are 20 minutes away. Local coffee shops also abound but you can enjoy a cappuccino right at home from our fully stocked coffee bar equipped with a Nespresso Pixie. The kitchen is also fully stocked with anything you could need to prepare a home-cooked meal, including a Weber grill on the rooftop, a tabletop fire pit for making smores, and a fondue maker.

The living room has a smart tv and an oversized comfy couch with perfect beach and pool views as does the dining area. All three bedrooms have queen size beds and ample closet space. The master bedroom includes an ensuite and has beach and pool views and the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have views of the reserve. The second bathroom is right outside of bedrooms 2 and 3. All linens and bath and beach towels are provided and a washer /dryer is available in the apartment.

The apartment is minutes from Routes 2 and 22 which are the gateways to the island and all its wonders. Take either in either direction and visit one of the almost 300 magical beaches that grace the island's coast--beach hop your way through the day with drives ranging from 5 minutes to 2 hours away with most located within an hour of the apartment. https://travellemming.com/puerto-rico-beaches/

A little piece of paradise San Juan is overrated because I had a great time in Arecibo

I was skeptical at first because I am a hotel kind of guy but my daughter is a younger more hip kind of girl and she wanted to try Verbo and I was very impressed and happy with my accommodations beautiful property well maintained and CLEAN!!!!!!

Safe, clean, and family friendly

The third floor with the terrace was a hit with the family. As long as you can go up the stairs it's the way to go. There is a a great brunch place called Simple down the street, the beach right across the road, and the pool and amenities were on point. Don't rent a big vehicle since the gated parking spots are a bit tight. I will definitely stay here again in the near future.

Beautiful property

We were very pleased with this apartment. The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. It was very well equipped with all our needs for a party of 7. It had beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards for fun on the beach. The apartment views were breath taking and the pool and property is very well maintained with very friendly neighbors. The host Nydia was very quick to respond back to us with any questions we had and very pleasant to speak with. I highly recommend this place and will definite be staying here again.

Simply…WOW!!!!! Nydia the host was AMAZING! Her attention to detail, the location of the property, the views, the comfort…I could go on and on and still be here for days describing what an phenomenal experience we had overall. Not one complaint. The communication with Nydia was flawless and her dining recommendations were ON POINT!!! Everyone must try David’s Sandwich (pernil sándwich)…ADDICTING! My family will definitely be repeat guests. You have to try this place out. An hour from San Juan and close enough to many other attractions, plus the beach is across the street, literally.

Local vibe and a beautiful view!

A lot to say, the location, the space & the property owner. You can’t beat being across the street from the beach. Five minutes to La Poza del Obispo, a local beach, a must visit. There are quite a few local restaurants that are excellent. The area is easily accessible from the highway. 24 hour security in a gated community, I felt very safe. It was easy to tell that many of the units were occupied as a full time homes, very quiet at night. The home was comfortable, cozy with space. It is a 3rd floor walk up with three well sized bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open kitchen to dining and living areas, terrace and rooftop! Boogie boards and beach towels. A great stay! Without getting too much into it, I was having a difficult day on the way to Arecibo and was trying to make the best of it. Had an issue with the VRBO app prior to check in and had to speak with the property owner, have to say, what a pleasure. This property owner takes pride in their business. Immediately they put me at ease, so professional and everything we discussed was addressed to my satisfaction. I don’t think their is a better place to stay in Arecibo.
