Spacious Newport Beach house on the Oceanfront, great beach and bay access.  Located right on the boardwalk, adjacent to additional guard gated parking. Short walk to everything.

Our location is one of the best spots in all of Southern California and certainly Newport beach.

Yes, steps away from the world Balboa pier and the ferry to the Balboa Island. The Catalina Flyer launches  from the Balboa  Bay front, also a short walk away.  There’s whale watching, and every sport possible in the Balboa Bay, including sailing, boating, jet skiing, kayaking.

Our beach house is great for family gatherings, reunions, and special events. Build a fire on the beach and have a family get together. Have a fun family barbecue.

Panoramic, breathtaking views of the beach and oceanfront, pier, park, and fire pits in the distance. 

Short walk away, from the  top restaurants, shopping, entertainment, activities and points of interest in the local area.

This was a fabulous place for our large family gathering! Shauntelle, the host, was super helpful and attentive. The location was amazing. Steps from the sand. The house had two kitchens stocked with everything you need. Plenty of linens. Slept 27 easily. Beach toys, chairs, and umbrellas were an added bonus! We would love to come stay again! We were so blessed to stay in the Newport Beach House on Oceanfront of Balboa Island. Location is right on the walkway next to Newport Beach. Our student group and chaperones truly enjoyed our location, very comfortable house with furniture you can actually sit and relax in. We slept well, bathroom spaces are plentiful and well appointed, good water pressure. The location of the home was ideal--close to shopping, coffee shops, boardwalk/pier, parking and, of course, those thunderous waves! The House was clean, with many amenities: laundry, dishwasher, coffee makers, parking, fold out futons, plenty of pans and dishes, large gas grill, crock pot, toasters, and oven space. The home fit our group of 36 very nicely, and we were all very comfortable. Front porch seating was pleasant, and accessibility to public showers to rinse sand off was very convenient. The hostess was very accommodating, helpful, and responsive to my questions if I needed help. We truly enjoyed our stay. Best place for large groups, will definitely book again. Thank you so much.

Great Property for a Family Reunion

This is a great property with an excellent hos. Shauntelle delivered a total VIP treatment. Every question answered immediately, every special request met making our 4 generation family reunion exactly what we had hoped. An excellent home in every regard. Furnishings and finishes, bedrooms and bathrooms all immaculately clean and comfortable. We were a group of 15 aging from 1 to 83. Perfect for all. Shauntelle will do every reasonable thing to ensure your stay is first rate and worthy of the VIP Treatment label. Highly recommend this well-equipped property right on the strand with easy public parking adjacent. Fabulous access to the beach. This is a 10-plus!

Amazing location and adorable house

Myself and 20 of my friends had the best girls trip ever here!! The location is right next to the beach and within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. We all fit comfortably within the space, sharing beds and the futons were surprisingly comfortable - Shauntelle, the host, even provided extra bedding for the futons free of charge and was very accommodating to our large group size! We used the grill on the porch and on the first floor with 0 issues - all the amenities we used worked. I had several girls compliment and thank me for finding and booking this place. The check in process was very thorough and we all felt very taken care of. I especially appreciate communicative hosts and Shauntelle was perfect, answering questions weeks in advance to check in and reaching out before and after our stay. Cannot recommend enough!

Wonderful trip!

We had a wonderful holiday weekend together with a large family group. Having so many rooms and bathrooms allowed us to have our own space, yet gather together for meals and family time. Shauntelle was extremely helpful and hospitable. Location was excellent and convenient to beach, pier, bikes, ice cream and the boardwalk! Easy walking distance to the Balboa Ferry and fun. Just Wow.

WOW. What an incredible experience and weekend. We booked this beautiful beach house for a large group of 25 & everything from the location, service, & house itself exceeded expectations. From the beginning Ms. Shauntelle went out of her way to accommodate us: from drafting a payment schedule, to making sure we had extra pillows, towels, etc. She was an absolute pleasure to work with & more than happy to communicate through email, text or phone. The place is marvelous. We rented the entire home, though each floor is completely set up as its own unit with a large fridge/freezer, 3+ bedrooms, 3 modern bathrooms, dining & plenty of convertible couches for lounging or sleeping guests. Located on Oceanfront Blvd with a balcony upstairs & patio on the 1st floor, we were literally steps from the sand. Beach chairs, umbrellas etc can be requested which was great since who wants to lug beach chairs on vacation? (not me!) Also, the convenience of two off-street parking spaces cannot be understated. However, once the cars were parked we could just walk! Balboa Lily’s for amazing coffee/breakfast/lunch. Newport Harbor Boat Rentals for duffy boat rentals. Cabo Cantina for delicious margs & Mexican fare with breezy open windows. Next door is a bike rental (and ice cream) shop so you can lazily cruise the wide beach path and daydream while passing in front of all the gorgeous beachfront homes. 100% will be back, even if just for a couples’ retreat upstairs! Highly recommend.

Paradise!!!

Shauntelle was our host and it was one of the greatest experiences we have ever had. From start to finish, Shauntelle was professional, kind, friendly, welcoming, helpful, and prompt with all the details. She took care of our large group, and we had no issues at all! The home is beautiful and right in front of the Balboa Pier. The back door porch/patio area is literally just a few steps away from the beach and bonfire pits. The house is filled with a ton of sleeping futon couches, beautiful bedrooms, and state of the art renovated bathrooms. Both kitchens were stocked with all the necessary items required to cook for a large group (just pack a few foil trays). Each floor also had its own BBQ grill. The views from the second floor were amazing and breath taking! If you stay at this specific rental, you must EXPLORE the area! There are so many things to do within walking distance. I probably won’t be able to list all the things our group did, here are a few: went whale watching, enjoyed drinks and food at Cruisers Pizza Bar Grill, Cabo Cantina, Class of 47, Balboa donut shop, Pizza Petes, and we enjoyed some amazing seafood (oysters) at Newport Landing Restaurant. These were just a few places that I can recall off the top of my head. There were a ton of little, small shops that had a bunch of cool souvenirs. We biked along the Newport Balboa Bike trail north for about 1.5 miles and enjoyed some time at the Newport Beach Pier. The Newport Beach Pier was filled with a ton of restaurants and shops that you must explore. There are so many things to do while you’re there! I can go on forever about our stay at this home and the wonderful host, Shauntelle. I highly recommend this rental for large groups that are looking to have some fun. You will create some wonderful memories that will last forever. I would stay here again and book through Shauntelle. 10/10 RATING FOR THIS ONE!!!

Made the best of it

Regarding our stay at the Beach house February 12-18, 2020; We took our family of 28 on a once in a life time vacation and stayed at the beach house. We rented the full house – upstairs and down. We booked 6 days, and paid in full, a year in advance. What we liked: We absolutely loved the location and the view at the beach house. The deck is an awesome place to barbeque and eat while enjoying the ocean. Two kitchens were handy – especially because the upstairs oven was too small to fit regular size cookie sheets. The downstairs kitchen had been updated with granite counter tops and a full size oven and fridge. They had just recently purchased new king beds for almost all of the rooms, they were memory foam and we slept well in them. What we did not like: Supplies are minimal, so you will need to supplement; towels, pillows, sheets, dish soap, hand soap, dishwasher soap, garbage bags, paper towels, and extra toilet paper, knives, forks, spoons, bowls and plates. So be sure to double check about provided supplies – so you can bring what might be lacking or expect to rent them there from the owner. The washer and dryer access in on the outside of the building and cost 1.50 ea. per load (takes quarters). Parking can be a real pain (which is not uncommon for the area) – 1 garage that fits a small car, but then, if you need out, it makes it difficult to use the parking space in front of the garage (which is tricky to edge your way into and to stay within the required lines)- but at least there is a parking place! Parking tickets are 65.00 so be careful not to get one. The upstairs kitchen cabinets were in need of some serious deep cleaning to remove the buildup of residue on the edges and around handles present from many years of use, making the surface feel sticky and there were a few broken handles. The finish on the upstairs kitchen table edges were sticky also, due to the same issue as the cabinets. The black futons in the upstairs were worse than expected, not just uncomfortable, but so bad our family could not sit around and visit on them, because it hurt our backs. We definitely could not sleep on them. We tried to use the air mattresses in the down stairs closet, in place of the futons and found all but 1 of them unusable, due to missing air caps, holes, and mold. We asked about accommodating 34 people at the time we rented, and 36 people were listed on line to accommodate. We were unable to sleep 20 there comfortably. Using one air mattr

Shauntelle was AMAZING to work with! She was not fazed at all by our large group or by our even larger needs. She was extremely accommodating and went out of her way to ensure we had a great trip. The house is adorable and set up for large groups. It’s a little crazy at first with all the futons- but when you have multiple families with little ones and you can keep them in rooms with their parents- it’s perfection. I have a large extended family and we meet up often in different parts of the country. We have stayed in some elaborate and spacious homes. This one was by far one of our favorite houses despite being much smaller and simpler than others. The house had everything we needed for our meals and even some extra fun like playing cards and beach toys. It was close to the beach and having the cars parked right in front of the house was perfect for our loading and unloading. Our trip was split between Disneyland and the beach. The drive to Disney was only around 30 mins so that was ideal. We were not thrilled with the area around the Disneyland parks or the rentals available so we were thrilled with the location of this rental. There was a cute store next door that was sadly only open on the weekend. We were within walking distance of many shops, treats and things to do. Our kids loved playing at the beach and doing surfing lessons. We also did a whale watching tour down the street at Davey’s Locker. I’m excited to come back to this area and will definitely stay again!

As the saying goes, location is everything, and this house certainly has a great location. It is located on the boardwalk in Newport Beach, just steps from the Balboa Pier. We spent 8 nights in the house with 23 adults, teenagers, and children. Despite being right near the beach, it was fairly quiet in the evenings and morning hours, and not loud even in the middle of the day. There is a large parking lot nearby, which worked out well for the several cars we needed to park.The house is large and very well equipped with everything we needed. It was very clean when we checked in.Shauntelle, the property manager, was terrific to work with. She called us several days before our stay and covered everything we needed. She arranged extra bed linens, towels, and even beach chairs, a canopy, and beach umbrellas. The video walkthrough at the beginning of our stay answered all our questions and gave us a good overview of the property. She promptly and efficiently handled the minor issues we had during our stay.If you are looking for a great location for a large group, look no further than this house!

The location is perfectly centered between the beach, shops, restaurants and entertainment. The house was perfect for the 17 we had but can easily hold more as all couches are comfortable futons. The deck and living space on the second floor is perfect for the large group to hang out. It was clean and new and the host Shauntelle was great about giving us the VIP treatment with extra chairs and towels and anything we needed. She also did a virtual check in process so we could save time when we got there. Even gave is early check in. Having the garage to store our bikes and stuff was also a nice benefit. We will be renting it again.

We booked this beautiful beach house for my Mom's 80th birthday celebration with family, and it was fantastic. We created such wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. As 20 people, we had never all stayed together under one roof before (ranging from 7 years old to 80 years old), and it so much fun! Shauntelle was extremely professional and had excellent communication throughout. She provided the highest end VIP service and always made sure things were seamless. Location, location, location! The location is simply amazing, with walkable access to everything - the beach, fire pits (just make sure you end by 10:00PM), Fun Zone, ferry ride to Balboa Island, and there is bike rental storefront literally next door. The house looks just like the photos, and was fully stocked with everything we needed. If you need beach chairs, beach towels, extra blankets or bath towels, Shauntelle will be sure to have that ready for you at check-in. You just have to let her know and she has your back! She goes out of her way to make sure her guests are accommodated at the highest level. Talk about VIP service! It was an epic vacation, and the house was everything. We hope to book again in the future.

The location couldn’t have been more convenient—close to everything we needed, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and attractions.From the start, Shauntell was an absolutely wonderful host. Perfect Newport Beach Vacation

What a wonderful property! The location on the boardwalk was perfect for our beach loving family. Having stayed in Newport Beach before, I was somewhat concerned about finding parking for our three vehicles because I know that can sometimes be an issue. However, parking was easy and literally right outside the front door. Everything, from shops, restaurants, the Fun Zone, and the Catalina Flyer is located within a very short walking distance from the house. We took the Flyer to Catalina Island on one of our days. We had such a fun time and it was so easy to do. The property actually consists of two units; an upper and lower, which can easily be connected. We reserved both units and our group of 14 (8 adults and 6 kids) had plenty of space to really spread out. The two youngest kids (3 and 7) had a blast in the bunk bed room and the 13 year old was thrilled to have her own bedroom and bath. Having two kitchens and two living rooms was really convenient. A favorite hangout location for the adults was the upper level deck. Great for people watching, sunsets, and enjoying the sounds of the waves. I can't say enough good things about Shauntelle, the owner and property manager. She made the whole experience from beginning to end easy and seamless. Communication with Shauntelle was excellent. She made sure to explain everything about the property and would check in with us to make sure things were going smoothly. She truly did provide a VIP service!

Perfect family get-away

This home is amazing and Shauntelle was so wonderful to work with! She is very thorough and accommodating. She even did drop-offs at the house for additional items we needed. The location is beautiful and so close to the Fun Zone, shops and food. We walked on the Balboa Pier to Ruby's our first night to enjoy great food! We used body boards, extra beach chairs and additional bedding for futons. Fire pits are close. Everything we wanted was available. The home is beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and has a gorgeous view from the upper patio! Our family get together turned out just as we had hoped. Thank you to Shauntelle for making it perfect.

This unique vacation home is in the prime area of Newport Beach on the Oceanfront. It features spectacular ocean and Catalina views and is the only area where you have access to the beach, bay, and is within walking distance to top restaurants, shopping, entertainment, points of interest, and attractions. Additionally, it can accommodate large parties and there is ample parking around the property, which can be hard to find in Newport Beach.
