As you pull into the Devonshire Place neighborhood, part of the Bermuda Bay community, you may wonder if you took a wrong turn somewhere and have ended up on a Caribbean island. A small water park marks the centerpiece of the community. Sparkling pools, a fun splash pad with various water features, lots of fun toys and plenty of sun loungers create a super fun environment at which the kids will want to spend the whole day! Every member of the family can find something to enjoy here! Plus, this is a community which is constantly being updated; the Bay has a new pier constructed as of November 2019, perfect for fishing, launching kayaks or just enjoying the view.

If you're longing to feel the sand in your toes and simply must visit the beach, it's a very convenient 1.1-mile drive from the Bermuda Bay communities to the beautiful Kill Devil Hills beaches. Your colorful vacation accommodations at Purple Palace will brighten both your day and your spirits! Here, you will enjoy a true rarity on the Outer Banks - your own private garage! In addition, your three-story home boasts a fenced courtyard, comfortable furnishings and plenty of thoughtful touches.

As you enter through the front door, you find yourself in the cozy living room outfitted with seating for 6, a flat screen-TV and a unique double-sided fireplace. Step through to a bright kitchen with tile floors and plenty of cabinets and counter space. The dining area boasts beautiful hardwood floors and seating for 6. The other side of the fireplace is perfectly situated between kitchen and dining rooms.

On the second level are the bedrooms. The King En Suite has a lovely sitting area with a chaise lounge and access to a deck. What a perfect spot for reading a few pages in your book or losing yourself in quiet thought. A Queen bedroom and bedroom with two Twins share a Jack 'n Jill style bath.

Have some fun in the third level loft area with seating for 5, flat screen TV and a foosball table. The kids will feel like they've got their own private hideaway with slanted ceilings and the feeling of "away from it all".

**Private outdoor community pools and/or waterpark play areas are available, weather permitting, beginning on weekends only (Friday to Sunday) May 3 to May 19. Beginning May 24, the pool will be open daily and close on September 30 for the season. Please know that pool operating dates are subject to change at any point, for any reason.**

Check-In begins at 4pm. Your keyless entry code will begin granting access at this time.
Check-Out is 10am.
