Stay in a classic, Charleston-style home that overlooks beautiful Lake Colby in the heart of Cinnamon Shore. Enjoy freshwater fishing and lakeside happy hours. Relax on the stacked, double porches and use the outdoor grill. Located a short walk from the beach, community pools, and other amenities, the home is perfect for two families or lots of friends!

AMENITIES: At North, resort-style amenities include three lavish pools, two scenic lakes with a fishing dock, cozy fire pits, a fully equipped fitness center, private dune crossovers, lawn games, and a pirate ship playscape. Enjoy our on-site dining options, including a Mediterranean bistro, a pizzeria, and a coffee shop and café. The vibrant Town Center brings the community together with events, activities, and live music throughout peak season and on holiday weekends.

MAIN LIVING SPACE: The first floor consists of a large family room, dining room, and a fully stocked kitchen, complete with a large, stainless gas range and island for extra seating. The banquet-size dining room, with a table that seats eight and a convenient bar area, makes it easy to entertain large groups. The family room’s large sectional sofa and cozy pair of club chairs makes a comfortable gathering place. Or retreat to the first-floor study to read or playing board games. Details like the coffered ceiling in the dining room add character.

SLEEPING QUARTERS: All three bedrooms are located on the second floor, and each has a private bathroom. Two of them are primary suites, each with king beds and comfortable linens. The bunk room has two top bunk beds and a queen bed that sleeps four. All of the second-floor bedrooms have private doors leading to the fantastic wrap-around porches. Downstairs, the study has a queen-size Murphy bed that accommodates extra guests at night.

GREAT FEATURES: Enjoy comfortable porches furnished with wicker chairs and tables. All bedrooms and the family room feature large flat-screen TVs with DVD players. The washer-and-dryer tucks away in a second-floor closet.

Reviewer Comments: This rental home fit the bill for us perfectly on spacing and rooms (albeit pictures showed two sets of bunk beds and in reality there were the top twins and a single full below in one room). The number of bathrooms was beyond convenient after a day at the beach/pool and we never ran out of hot water! The home was warm, comfortable and very conveniently located with lake front fishing out the back door and community activities/restaurants a short walk away. We cooked our meals on their grill andin the kitchen which had every tool and dish we could need.Property management was fabulous at checking to make sure every detail was attended to from optimal AC in the unit, to prompt responses to questions and text reminders for schedules. Remember to bring some extra toiletries for longer stays.We will definitely plan another vacation to Cinnamom Shores and would love to return to The Veranda!

This recent stay the house was good, issues with toilet and dryer but otherwise we loved the house. We were not happy at all with the decline in service from cinnamon shores...the staff were polite but really couldnt help. The restaraunts have really gone downhill in service and quality. There wasnt the usual live music on weekends at the circle. Just really disappointed and will look for elsewhere to stay in future.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed Tuesday through Sunday mid-July a The Veranda in Cinnamon Shores North. The amenities in this community cannot be beat. We had beach chair set up daily and rented the golf carts from Sage, which is on site. We received daily messages and check-in to ensure everything was going well and we did not have any needs. The house itself was an absolute dream, and I loved the style and decor. It was perfect for our family for, very roomy and could easily fit a set of grandparents or a few more people. We especially loved the extra sitting room upfront and the master bathroom jet bathtub! The wraparound upstairs porch was perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails. Backing up to the lake made it especially private and quiet. I would absolutely stay here again.

This home is on the lake, so we were able to do some fishing off the back porch. A couple of drawbacks: 2nd master had a slow draining sink, which was “fixed,” but continued to drain slowly. Only 1 burner on the stove worked. The toaster oven would bake, but not toast, the utensils are limited and need replacing. But it’s nice to have the outside hose, and be on the lake. I do recommend this home, just mentioning the downsides so the owners are alerted.

What a great locations! Far enough from home to feel like a vacation but close enough for the drive. Amazing hospitality from the entire neighborhood! The beach was perfect. 3 days was only a tease. I seriously recommend a longer stay to fully enjoy this amazing paradise!

It is a perfect fit for 2 families. 2 large master bedrooms and a great bunk room, each with their own bath. The front living room downstairs has a murphy bed that is great for an older child. The best feature however is the location on Colby lake. You can walk out the back door and the lake is 10' from the porch. Perfect for breezes and a nice view. It faces east so the back yard/porch is shaded in the afternoon. We will look for the Veranda again on our next trip to CS.

Microwave needs to be replaced ASAP. The cs staff brought a temp quickly. Requested someone to make the living room remote to work no one ever came so that was a little tough for 5 nights with 7 kids ! But TVs in other rooms just not working in the gathering room the right way. We would stay there again.

There were always several tiny tree frogs, which was so much fun to see. The location on lake Colby is perfect. Everything was clean, comfortable and well thought out. This is our second visit to cinnamon shores. The first housevwe stayed in was fine, but and I would definitely stay at The Veranda again. You just can’t beat the porches.

Much more comfortable than Southern Charm. After years of staying in dated junky places close to town or right on the beach, We got excited about the amenities and up to date houses at CS ad we have stayed here the past three or trips. I think I'm going back. The resort is just not that nice. We had a hard time getting chairs and umbrellas and then an umbrella came out of the sand and concussed my wife. Very little in the way of apologies from the management. And while the pool service is a great amenity, the food is not great. I think the menu is fine, its just not good quality and it costs a ton, like everything else. Also too much motarized traffic. It seems like every person has their own golf cart wizzing around the place with little regard for pedestrians. Lastly it just doesn't feel like Port Aransas. Pseudofancy with non of the redneck charm of Port A. If it was actually nice, I think that would be fine but it's just not that nice.

Very Disapointing!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: BEWARE! Verify Bed Count before staying! We have stayed at CInnamon Shores 9 times in the past few years. This stay was very disappointing!!! We booked The Veranda after wanting to stay there for 2 years. It CLEARLY states that is easily fits 12 people. The internet states the downstairs EASILY sleeps 4 people. When we arrived there was NO foldout sofa like stated. It only slept 10. The most disappointing part was how uncaring the office staff was. THey basically said they couldn’t help that the description was wrong and there was NOTHTING they would do to fix the situation. They would not refund ANY part of the money that was paid for 12 beds. They would NOT put our 2 adults that was without a bed in another condo. THey would NOT put us in another house that held 12. All this after we paid for a home that they told us slept 12, we received zero assistance and only a very RUDE office lady. We called the office multiple times and they never had any type of solution. We told them we had adults not children, and we couldn’t put our 2 adults on the sofa that didn’t pull out. When the maintenance manager came to check and verify the couch did not pull out, because the office didn’t believe me when I called, he told us that the office was rude and he felt so bad that they were not willing to do anything to help us. They wouldn’t even return our calls. We were stuck with 2 adults on a blow up mattress after paying $6000,00 for this stay. The office called the owner who told them they had in fact taken the fold out couch out a “while back” and they needed the office to update their website. For as much money as this vacation resort charges, they need to know how many people can actually sleep in their homes. Cinnamon SHore is a great place that we Love. Please get some customer service skills and caring front desk workers. THey are only helpful at taking your money, not fixing any issues!!

Beautiful Escape

It backs up to one of the lakes, so you've got a great view right off the back porch. We traveled with our 3 & 5yr olds & met friends w/their 1, 3, & 5yr olds. The bunk room was perfect for the 4 girls and the rental office was great at providing baby gates and a high chair prior to our arrival.Pools were nice and clean, golf carts worked well (you will definitely need one if you have kids with you as this house is not super close to the beach), beds were comfortable, and the whole community is just beautiful! The home was clean and mostly stocked with what we needed (dish soap, detergent, shampoo, soap, toilet paper). It would have been nice to have basic pantry staples stocked as well (seasonings, condiments, etc) but we made do just fine. My only other small complaints would be that the towels were small and thin (when you pay a premium price, you want premium quality), the grill broke our second or third day there and they didn't fix it until the day we were leaving, and we paid for 2 days of umbrella and chair service and the 2nd day they forgot us, so we had to wait to have them set up for us, and at that point, the beach was so full that we were set up WAY down the beach where it wasn't raked - we had to deal with all the junk that washes up in the sand instead of the nice, clean, raked part of the beach where everyone else was. Kind of annoying to pay for something and not get what we were expecting. I will say, of all of our meals, my favorite was the one we cooked at home (when the grill was working). Lisabella's was overpriced in my opinion and the options in town are not great (whataburger was probably the second best meal we had if that tells you anything). We had planned on the movies & smores nights but it rained both nights they were offered so we weren't able to enjoy that. All in all, we had a great trip and will be back!

Had concerns with overall cleanliness from the moment we saw the trash filled outdoor shower...and the home and furniture were in equally disgusting shape.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wopnderful family vacation at Cinnamon Shores! Only issues were the WIFI wasnt working and the staff was not helpful in fixing it so we were without WIFI all week. The TV in the master didnt work. The celigin fan in the master was noisy. The house wasnt very clean and had some smell in one of the bedrooms. Otherwise we did have a great time and it was a nice house.
