Great Country Get Away

Highly recommend this lovely home, with one recommendation for the homeowners: the home needs some spring cleaning. Property manager was accessible and always very helpful. The theatre room was one of our favs!

Great experience and helpful!

Our family was staying here for a funeral and the owners were able to accommodate us with an extended stay so we didn’t have to find a new room on the the day of the funeral. Very kind and helpful! Our family, especially my grandma was so thankful.

Comfortable home

Wonderful host! She was so gracious! The home and property are 10 minutes from Lake Murray. Large beautiful home. It worked out great for our family in town for a family reunion. The pool table and toys for the kids were a huge bonus! Thank you!

We enjoyed the theater room once we figured out which of the 12 remotes did what. The ovens need a good cleaning. There was lots of dog hair all over the place. We really had to watch the pre toddler and clean her hands a lot. We finally vacuumed and swept the floors toget most of it up.

Hi James, thank you for your comments. We will take care of the ovens and I appreciate you letting me know. As per our listing, we are a pet friendly home so pet hair is going to be found. I personally swept, vacuumed, moped and steamed the floors prior to your arrival. Finally, the directions for the theatre room are posted in the theatre room. If you were unable to find that, please let me know. I am not sure how there are 12 remotes up there as there should only be six (sound system, TV, cable, projector, Roku, fire stick) so I will try and figure out what those others are. Glad you made it into the house. I know that door knob can be tricky since it was installed backwards. We put that sign on the door, but sometimes, people don’t see it. Hope you had a good holiday with your family and a wonderful 2026.
