Perfect for a nice weekend in Frankfort. Cozy and clean and very well updated. Host was super helpful. We enjoyed our stay. Don’t miss Andy’s bakery!

Great Location for Buffalo Trace Visits

We stayed three nights in the loft apartment and had a great time. The room was clean and comfortable for my wife and I. We were also close to Buffalo Trace and several other distilleries and there the downtown location was near some nice restaurants.

Fantastic location, very cute and charming decor, and they literally thought of everything! There were snacks, locals guides / brochures, and every toiletry imaginable! The bed was comfortable, the neighborhood relatively quiet and just a fantastic use of space. We absolutely loved our quick visit and will certainly be back!

The Carriage was perfect for our weekend stay! Walkable to a charming downtown area with great coffeeshops, vintage shops, and a Kentucky craft co-op. Super comfortable and appointed nicely with things travelers might need. Will definitely stay here again if we’re back into Frankfort.

The Carriage

It was perfect for our stay. Location was excellent to get around the Frankfort area. Jason & Toni were excellent host. They responded to any questions we had prior to our trip and during. Would definitely go back if it was just the two of us.

Cozy Retreat

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful and clean loft space. It was the perfect spot for a solo trip—cozy, stylish, and super comfortable. Access from the street parking to the carriage house was seamless, and communication with the hosts was excellent throughout. Highly recommend! Will definitely be back!

Weekend Bourbon Tour

We had an amazing visit to Frankfort. The Carriage house was the perfect space for my husband and I. Everything was in tip top shape and the hosts have thought about every detail. The space was within walking distance of downtown Frankfort and several areas, and a quick drive to Buffalo Trace. We loved it and everything was perfect! We can’t wait to plan our next trip to stay again!

Just a one night get away and the carriage house was perfect. It was so cute! It was very nice and clean and had everything you could need. And the snack basket was a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean, Practical and Well Located

We enjoyed our stay at the Carriage House. It was modern, clean, comfortable and located in the middle of everything in Frankfort. The Hosts communicated frequently and effectively answering all our questions. We recommend this space for a couple wanting a private space in the middle of the many attractions in the local area.

Peacefully Perfect!

We absolutely loved staying in The Carriage! It was the perfect size for the two of us and the location was great; we walked all around the Capitol and it's grounds, historic downtown Frankfort, and to Andy's Artisan Bread each morning for pastries and coffee. The Carriage reminded us of a Parisian apartment and the neighborhood was incredibly quiet. We loved being so close to the various distilleries. Definitely coming back again!

I was looking for a place to stay close to the Capitol for work. I really just needed a place to sleep and shower at an affordable rate. Prior months I stayed in hotels and it got quite expensive. I happened across this jewel on Expedia. It was perfect. Just what I needed at a very affordable rate. I will definitely rebook in the future. Everything I needed was within a very short drive. The unit was very quaint. The prior reviews of 10 sold me on giving it a try. I’m glad I did. It is definitely a 10.

This is the perfect hygge cottage close to the bourbon trail. I lived in Denmark and understand Hygge. This is it! We stayed here for 2 nights as a home base to explore what Kentucky has to offer. Super easy check-in, and the instructions were clear even to find it in the dark. The bed and bedding are comfortable. The bathroom was just right. I’m short and my husband is tall. He would have had a hard time not hitting his head on the one side of the bed, so I took that side. There is a simple kitchen if you want to cook a dinner or breakfast. We enjoyed the welcome basket. If you are debating hotel room or other place, stay here!! We will stay here again.

This is a perfect property for a weekend get away. Located in downtown Frankfort close to the Capitol building, restaurants, diners, bakeries, and distilleries. It is the perfect base to explore the Bourbon Trail. The carriage house was immaculately clean. The weather was very rainy and I asked for an old towel so we would not mess up the floors, which the hosts were quick to drop off. The hosts have thought of everything that you could need. Only thing I would say is if you have mobility issues, the carriage house is not for you as there are stairs. We did not have a problem. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.
