About this property
Secret Meadow at Hick’s Orchard
Absolute seclusion! Come relax at Secret Meadow at Hicks Orchard - a U-Pick apple orchard. Our 13x16 ft canvas tent is situated at the top of a hill, at the edge of the woods. There is a private meadow and pond, just for you to enjoy. The tent is truly glamorous - equipped with everything you need.
The tent site is a ten minute walk partly uphill. The path is a bumpy tractor road that can be slippery after it rains.
Get ready for total relaxation on this truly peaceful hilltop.
The space
Remote campsite with large canvas tent. Medium firm, queen size, latex foam mattress is soooo comfortable fitted with 100% cotton linen sheets. There are plenty of blankets for cold nights.
For May and October reservations there will be an indoor safe propane heater.
Guest access
The campsite is on the edge of a meadow with a pond. Guests are welcome to explore the meadow. The woods to the left of the meadow belong to the neighbor and we request that guests stay on our property.
The orchard store, across the street, is open weekends 10-4 with expanded hours during picking season. There is hard cider made on site with tastings available.
WiFi at the store is open and accessible even if the store is closed. There is a covered porch guests are welcome to use.
Likewise the bathroom barn is always open and guests are welcome to use. Water from the taps is potable.
Other things to note
All guests will be required to digitally sign a standard liability release within 3 days of making the reservation and before arrival.
