Walk To Ocean Or Village Of Southwest Harbor - Near Bar Harbor
Singing Hill is a shingle style cottage on the corner of High Road and South Causeway Lane. The massive field-stone fireplace is the centerpiece of the large living room. Its original beamed ceiling and paneled walls are in the 1920’s Arts and Crafts style. The living room has a flat screen TV, DVR, Blue Ray DVD player, WiFi, books, games, and a game table. A Dutch door connects the living room with a large covered porch with cushioned chairs, a hammock, and tables and chairs for outdoor dining for 12. The first floor also includes an eat-in Maine kitchen with dishwasher; a formal dining room; a den with flat-screen TV and Blue Ray DVD player; a bath with shower; and a laundry with washer and dryer. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms: two with a queen bed in each, one with two twin beds and one with three twin beds. There is a Pack n Play available for young children. There is also a full bath with a clawfoot tub/shower unit.

The center of town is a five-minute walk, with restaurants, shops, library, post office, the Wendell Gilley bird-carving museum, and the free Island Explorer bus provides access to many of the beautiful sights for which Acadia National Park is renowned. Beal’s Lobster Pier is a ten minute walk; there, at the Captain’s Galley, you may order a lobster dinner to eat on their picnic tables overlooking Southwest Harbor, or you may purchase lobsters and seafood to cook at home. Bar Harbor is a twenty-minute drive with many shops, restaurants and museums, and Acadia National Park Headquarters there provides educational programs and literature on scenic areas throughout the Park.
Flat-screen cable TVs, DVR, Blue ray DVD players, wireless internet, MW, DW, W/D, heat, fireplace, covered porch, decks, gas grill, lobster kettle.
