TIP 1: For personal storage in the primary bedroom: The built-in shelving is cleared for you. We also have a large hanging rack for you.

TIP 2: Garbage bins go out on Sunday evening. Cans are in the breezeway next to the laundry room. Pls take them out through the side/tradesman alley.

TIP 3: If it is raining/drizzling outside, please put all the outdoor cushions on the larger sofa and cover. Same for the couch on the upper deck

Great SF Stay!

Our family of five stayed for a long weekend, it was a great location plenty of walkable restaurants and shops and also close to public transportation for a quick trip downtown.

Very good location, close to train, golden gate, and many good restaurants. Kitchen is very nice. Listing was posted incorrectly, so we were disappointed in the lack of air conditioning. Not enough pillows. We had to purchase a fan and extra pillows to be comfortable. Strong dog smell, especially on the couch, so much that it was hard to sit there in the living room.

Thank you for noting our home’s great location and kitchen. We do want to clarify an important point for future guests. VRBO experienced a technical error that incorrectly displayed amenities from another one of our properties on this listing. VRBO acknowledged that the error was theirs, refunded our host fees, and contacted the guest directly to explain what had occurred. Prior to arrival, we also provided the guest with our detailed Welcome Guide, which accurately described the home and its amenities, including that there is no air conditioning. Unfortunately, none of the other concerns mentioned in this review were brought to our attention during the stay. Had they been, we would have addressed them immediately. We take great pride in our home and our guests’ experience. Due to VRBO’s technical error and its subsequent handling of this matter, we have decided to no longer accept reservations through VRBO.

Wonderful house in a prime location.

Very classy and clean. Nice friendly neighborhood with very little noise with the exception of some street traffic which is to be expected. Would highly recommend. Lastly the host was on top of things and very pleasant to communicate with.

We are Lisa and Alex. We own a Design Build firm in San Francisco. Up until last year, we worked with outside clients. We now are doing work on our own properties. We love hosting which allows us more freedom to travel ourselves.

Why they chose this property

Our neighborhood is incredible. We live a half block to Irving Street (shopping, coffee shops, tons of restaurants, and anything you might need during your visit - including a gourmet grocery store a block away (Andronicos). We also live 1.5 blocks from the best area of Golden Gate Park (formal entrance is 9th Ave @ Irving). You can walk to the Academy of Sciences, DeYoung Museum, Japanese Tea Garden and Stowe Lake (Blue Heron Lake) where you can rent paddle boats to explore the island.

What makes this property unique

We have owned our home in the Inner Sunset for almost 30 years. We upgraded everything during the first 5 years of moving in. After renting the property for almost 15 years, we moved back in 2022 and are working on improvements again. We love the Victorian charm of our home, and we love adding contemporary details. We hope you will enjoy it as well.
