Welcome to our house! Entering from one of Somerville's most beautiful streets, you'll feel at home immediately. Enjoy cooking in the chef's kitchen, relax by the gas fireplace, or work out in the well-equipped gym in the basement. And if you're a musician, you'll appreciate the gleaming Steinway Model B grand piano. The home is ideal for visiting professors, executives or other professionals who plan to stay a few months in the Boston area.

The house is on a quiet street by the community path, and a 10 minute walk from Davis Square, with its restaurants and coffee shops.

The house has parking for 3 cars, and includes a Tesla Charger for your free use. But it's easier to take the subway than to drive! We're 3 minutes by foot from the Green Line, which will take you to Tufts University in one direction and Boston's downtown in the other. We're also 10 minutes by foot from the Red Line, which will take you to Cambridge, Harvard Square, MIT and Boston. The commuter rail station at Porter Square (about 10 minutes by foot) also makes it easy to get to areas like Waltham and the Brandeis University campus.

We chose this location to live because it is so centrally located. Either by car or public transportation, we can easily travel in any direction. The Boston/Cambridge/Somverville area is easy to access, as well as points north such as the north shore area of Massachusetts, southern New Hampshire, and southern Maine.

What makes this property unique

This property is our home first, which means we have set it up for living comfortably. Renting it out for a only few months per year means that you will find a fully equipped kitchen, large-sized washer and dryer, and plenty of linens, towels, etc.

Likewise, this property is ideal for musicians, with a Steinway model B grand piano in the living room.
