Address is 311 A Street NE Washington DC 20002. The 300 block of A Street is highly sought after for it's location and charm. Three blocks to the Capitol on a gorgeous tree-lined street with brick sidewalks.

Beautiful upscale renovation of charming studio in 1860s semi-detached townhouse. Tons of light. Fantastic location. Huge windows overlook private landscaped patio (great for outdoors social distance morning coffee). Wood floors. Great kitchen and bath.

Ideal social distance option. Private entrance. Private heat/air/ventilation. Private patio directly out front.

BLAZING 1 GIG INTERNET (fastest residential service in DC)

Lots of charm (wood floors, 1860s building. Separate entrance, huge side gardens and access to shared roofdeck.

Cozy studio that comes with everything you'll need during visit. W/D, dishwasher, etc. Overlooks charming street scene.

This is a Capitol Hill Stay property. Capitol Hill Stay is a veteran-owned small business with 20 properties on Capitol Hill. We have been providing furnished lodging on Capitol Hill since 1996. We use excellent cleaners and pay them a living wage (they are best in DC if you ask me). And we have a professional full time property manager. If this property doesn't work for you or isn't available for the dates you need please reach out to us and let us know and we can see if we can find a property that does work for you. You can also swap from one of our properties to another as available if needed.

Guests have total access. This is not a shared space.

I live three blocks away. I'm more than happy to provide information on local attractions. We also provide a detailed Welcome Letter with relevant neighborhood information, plus an interactive Map with neighborhood recommendations.

Capitol Hill is an outstanding neighborhood. It's historic, charming, and ideally located at the absolute geographic center of DC. Terrific safety, with the US Capitol police patrolling the area. Home to many politicians, media figures, etc.

Corner groceries, pharmacy, great diner and dry cleaners a two minute walk away.

Eastern Market (farmers market and baker/butcher etc) is a few blocks away. Amazing restaurants and lively bars within blocks!

Whole Foods and several other supermarkets in the neighborhood.

Five blocks to metro orange/blue and red lines. Union Station train station is five blocks. Union Station is home to the major sightseeing tours. Capital Bikeshare kiosk is a couple minutes walk.

Uber and Lyft and cheap and very easy to get here.

DC Circulator metro rapid bus transit also very close by.

The outdoor space is a rarity in DC. Ideal spot to explore DC from. Fantastic neighborhood for longer term stays also.

A few words about rates:

Since every booking is different the rates listed are an approximation. Rates are based on length of stay, specific dates needed, amenities requested, etc. Bookings less than 91 days are subject to the DC lodging tax of 15.95%. If your stay is 91 days or longer you avoid that tax for the entire stay.

SINCE EVERY INQUIRY IS DIFFERENT AND THE BIGGEST FACTOR IN PRICE ARE THE SPECIFIC DATES CHOSEN AND LENGTH OF STAY RATES MAY BE HIGHER OR LOWER THAN WHAT IS POSTED. PLEASE INQUIRE SO WE CAN DISCUSS PRIOR TO SENDING A BOOKING REQUEST.

Late spring and summer are the 'high season' very high demand months, moreso this year than ever before as this is the first year that many federal agencies and private employers are bring people back to DC, and they are making up for lost productivity during Covid. Most furnished housing providers in DC will only take bookings for three months or longer during these months.

We will do shorter stays, but the furnished housing business is usually priced by length of stay (and specific dates chosen). Shorter term stays are at a higher rate. And generally we try to match an incoming booking with an apartment that is available beginning within a week or so of the requested date. For instance if you are seeking a one or two month rental beginning July 1 we would want to match your request with a property available beginning in very late June or July 1 (not leaving more than a couple of days vacant between bookings). If this property about seems to have an availability date that may not match up please contact us to see if we can make a specific suggestion, as sometimes we have availability that isn't showing up on booking platforms.
