The Lilly Pad, is located on Lake Guntersville and is a great retreat for couples, families, and fishermen to enjoy a relaxing time on the lake. Located 10 minutes from Scottsboro, Alabama and 1 hour from Chattanooga, Tennessee. Features 1600sf w/ 3 br and 2bths, and 850 sf of covered outdoor space including a screened in deck, with a hot tub and room for entertainment underneath. Several kayaks and canoes are close to water access. Boat dock is great for boats, fishing, and enjoying the water. Enjoy everything the lake has to offer as well as being close to food, shopping, and other travel destinations!

The house was a great value and clean. Both porches were amazing, and the dock area was a great place to relax in the evening. Nick was very good at communicating with us when we needed. This house is great for anyone coming to Guntersville to fish because you are within 30 minutes of the best launch points throughout the lake. We will definitely be back!

The host was welcoming and the facility was very nice. I loved the screened in patio. We were there for our anniversary which was February 2 so it was very cold so we didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub or the lake but if the weather had permitted I’m sure we would have enjoyed everything.

House was perfect except the breaker panel was apparently in a locked closet. I booked the house for easy access to fishing and the boat slip behind it. Ended up traveling to other locations to fish. Upon returning with fish to cook we tripped a breaker with our fish fryers and had to run cords to various plug ins. Overall the house is amazing , quiet and very nice! The nearby fishing needs some help.

The listing is very inaccurate as far as being a great place for boating/fishing. The area of the lake this house is on is 100% un boatable. The weed infestation is so bad that we are lucky we didn't burn up our 90hp mercury motor just trying to get through the weeds and to the house. The second day, we decided to move the boat to a boat slip at Jackson county park. It took us over 3 hours to get there and burned almost a tank of gas. The boat slip cost us another 130 to keep it there. The house looks great on vrbo but many maintenance issues have not been taken care of. Door locksets broken and not working, porch led lights controls not working(remote inop), No gutters on screen porch causing outside deck and stairs covered in black mold. This is a major slip hazard, especially the stairs when wet and also very ugly. Other smaller issues in the house that a handyman could fix very easily. I am not very happy spending on a place like this.

Beautiful home and view! We loved the porch, hot tub, and the kids were big fans of the kayaks! There were two beautiful Bald Eagles hanging around up in the trees near their nest, and that was the cherry on top for a perfect get away from our busy farming life. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderfully relaxing long weekend at The Lily Pad and spent most of the time on the screened in deck, enjoying the sounds of nature while avoiding the bugs. The kitchen was stocked well with utensils and everything needed for cooking, which was a plus. It was very clean and the host was responsive. We would definitely stay there again!

My boyfriend and I booked this place looking for a relaxing getaway. We couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect. The house was clean, it looks just like the pictures. The host was great. The fishing there is amazing. The location was perfect for what we were looking for. A nice secluded street right on the lake. I love that it had a screened in porch because the mosquitos can get a bit crazy at night. We will definitely book here again!

My family had a nice relaxing stay right after Christmas. The house has been beautifully upgraded and was very comfortable for our family of four. My husband especially enjoyed the hot tub while I enjoyed the screened in porch overlooking the lake.

Girls get away

Had a wonderful time, place was very clean, everything as pictured, we had some bad storms come thru, Nick, made sure us ladys were ok thru the entire storm, we couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay or a better person to rent from.
