Cottage style remodeled home inside & out.This Cozy Cottage style has wood floors and leather seating and a 55 inch smart TV , fully stocked kitchen, new garden tub and shower, and bedroom has plush mattress, finer sheets and also a smart TV. Second bedroom currently closed for personal storage but negotiable. This is my private home and am looking for someone who can care for my cat..just feeding and loving needed. She has her own door and comes and goes as she needs. Sp please no additional pets.
Enjoy the view from your patio rocking chairs, listen to nature sounds while sitting around the fire pit in the huge back yard or relish the private dock for fishing , jumping into spring fed water, kayaking or canoeing , or star gazing!
Peaceful and quiet, have fun but respect our friendly neighbors. Minutes from many of central Florida's many attractions and activities. Snowbirds welcome to long-term renta lsubstantial discount rate!

Quiet and peaceful

We stayed at a quiet lakeside home. The lake was peaceful and serene. Since it was the middle of the week, we seemed to have it all to ourselves.

Cozy Cottage

The property was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The cottage was practically brand new inside and had all the creature comforts of home. It was peaceful and the neighborhood was quiet. Communication with the owner was outstanding from beginning to the end. We would highly recommend this property and will stay again on future trips.

Beautiful

This place is absolutely beautiful! It was so relaxing and such a quiet neighborhood. The place has everything you need so all you need is your clothes and food! They even have spices and stuff for cooking! I have rented many places and this place has definitely taken the number 1 spot! Even the homeowner responded with help on shopping in the area! Definitely hope we race there again next year so we can rent the same place!!!

Just what we needed

Cozy Cottage truly lives up to it's name. Located on a peaceful 28 acre lake with a private backyard and covered dock. We started our mornings on the lake shore in comfy lounge chairs under a large umbrella, fished from the dock durng the day and enjoyed the beautiful stars at night. The cottage was comfy (3 adults and 1 dog) and had everything we needed and more in the well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed all the extra amenities provided throughout the cottage and property. It was just what we needed to refresh and recharge. Very peaceful, quiet and relaxing. We look forward to booking again.

Peaceful Lake Hideaway

What a hidden gem! I am an Interlachen native and came back home for a funeral and needed a place for my family to land that was close to my parents. I didn't know I could find such a cozy, peaceful spot on my own hometown! The home was immaculate and eclectic. We only used the master suite, but the bed was extremely comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked and makes it easy to fix meals on site. The back garden was an oasis. We enjoyed watching the sun rise over the lake from the rocking chairs and the wildlife in the backyard—tons of birds and a band of free-roaming cats who look like they're enjoying the lake life! While we didn't take full advantage of the lake because it was February, we did enjoy sitting on the dock and looking at the stars in the evening. If you're looking for a quiet place to get a little peace, this is it. We'd love to come back in summer so we can get a chance to jump in the lake! Many thanks to Christina for this comfortable space.

Cozy Cottage Lake House is a MUST stay!

I was looking forward to a bit of quiet time after a several year long project, and my idea of complete relaxation is finding a nice quiet place, and well, doing nothing ‘or fishing’. The dock has Lilly pads right off the dock which is ideal for several fish varieties. I can say I enjoyed every moment of my time at this cozy cottage. The layout of this cottage is perfect with family, dining, and kitchen area all-together. The interior is completely renovated, and I really enjoyed the design and decor. The kitchen was also perfectly placed for getting out (and in) to the grill which is right down the stairs. Watch that first step! Initially, this was going to be my only negative for this Florida gem, but I immediately got used to it, and forgot all about it aside from a quick caution. The outside is where the magic is as there are many beautiful plants (lime tree, so bring margarita fixings!), and a lovely patio with rocking chairs. I very much liked eating breakfast and dinner watching over the lake. The lake dock is fantastic with so many items to make your time in the water (or around) an unforgettable experience. Go ahead and launch yourself off the dock and shout, ‘CANNONBALL’! This is the perfect place to rest and rejuvenate, and I know you’ll enjoy ‘The Cozy Lake House Cottage’ as much as I have!
