Property was very welcoming and cozy & private. Cabin had all the conveniences and was just right for our overnight stay. It was immaculate and if you travel with dogs, plenty of room for them to stretch their legs!!
The cabin was clean and homey. It feels secluded but safe. Perfect for a weekend getaway with my husband but it would have worked with kids also. All the essentials were provided. We would enjoy coming back in different seasons to see the scenery changes.
If you are looking for a nice clean cabin with lots of access to water and conservative lands as well as private land to hike and explore this is the perfect place, not far off the highway, easy to get to. The bed is very comfortable as well.
Very cozy and very quiet, just the sound of nature. Cabin was very clean a had everything I needed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to disconnect and relax.

Great secluded Cabin with all ammenities you need, very clean and well kept would definetly recommend!
I stayed at this cabin for a week, and it was exactly what I needed. From the moment I arrived, there was a real sense of quiet and peace. Not just “away from the city” quiet, but the kind where you can actually hear the wind in the trees and feel your nervous system settle. The property is beautiful and spacious. I brought my German Shepherd, and having room for him to safely explore made the whole experience even better. Morning coffee on the deck and evening light through the trees became my favorite rituals. The cabin itself was comfortable and easy to settle into. It felt welcoming, not sterile, and had everything I needed. Close enough to town for supplies, but far enough to truly unplug.I painted, slept better than I have in a long time, and genuinely felt restored. If you’re looking for a peaceful reset in nature, this is it. I would absolutely stay here again.

Very nice place and put together with great intention of making the stay comfortable. Could use more detail on fishing and property layout we were under the impression that lake was visible from cabin and river close by creek dried up what we believe was the river was not very accessible

We would love to give you more details about fishing if you make your way back to the cabin! The creek is wet weather and totally dependent on mother nature. Thank your stay! Hope to see you back.
The cabin is located at the end of a gravel road. It is very quiet and peaceful. The screened porch is an added bonus. The cabin is very clean and well maintained. This is our second stay and look forward to renting it next summer.
We had a wonderful short stay at this cabin! Our first day it rained allll day, but there was plenty to do in the cabin and we stayed nice and cozy. The decor and furniture were the perfect blend of modern and rustic. Seating and bedding were very comfortable, and we loved the little touches here and there. Our kids loved the cabinet full of games, the ring hook game, and the swings! In the morning the sun was out and we saw just how beautiful the property was! If you’re looking for a peaceful, secluded spot with all the amenities you could need, this is the spot for you!
Excellent property if you want privacy and a remote setting. This is my second trip and it was every bit as good as the first trip. The hosts are very accommodating,! The property is well kept and very clean.

I definitely go o back again.
Was a great place to get away. This is for hunters and fishermen. My wife and myself found this place and thought how nice. Glad we did! Awesome host no better. Definitely will revisit in the future. Quit and secluded away from all👍
We picked the cabin to provide lodging while we attended events at the Lucas Oil Speedway. We actually ended up enjoying our time at the cabin as much as or time at the speedway! The host was very responsive and the cabin was well kept. The cabin provided a great place to celebrate the retirement of a co-worker. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to disconnect and relax
The cabin is located in a beautiful tree covered area with only nature for a neighbor. We enjoyed a very quiet, relaxing weekend.
The large screened porch was the perfect place to be outdoors without bugs.
The Wi-Fi was excellent. The AC kept the cabin comfortable. We didn’t cook, but appliances appeared to be in good working order and very clean.
We would definitely rent this cabin again.
The first thing I did when I got there was I put on a horror movie of kids getting butchered to death by zombies in the woods. I just couldn't resist.
It's really good if you have dogs because it is in the woods, but there is a fence around the property. The immediate area has been cleared so you get about 50-100 feet of space to move around before dense forest. The cabin itself is nice and has internet and tv and power and water. Again, this is a hunting cabin, so it's smaller, but everything is high quality.
When I go to VRBO cabins, I make sure it is far from civilization, so I love the seclusion, but be warned that you are about 15 minutes from the city, so don't expect to "walk home from the bar". Finally, as with so many other VRBO address identifiers, the GPS takes you to the back end of the property, where there is no access. My advice is to contact the host and ask for a screenshot of the gate, and match that up with GPS. Finally, and this is very important, the front gate is almost unrecognizable until you are about 5 feet from it. So plan to arrive during the day. I would recommend to the host to install some solar power light to identify the gate.
